I think the appropritae call is that when Cullen left Lilly at the Church, a faint pulse was found by the young minister, and she was revived.............I love this show............but this ripped my guts out...........Don't need to soap it up with a twin sister............just bring her back from the brink.................hell, they brought back Mr. tool after being shot in the mouth!!!!!!!!!

To all those that claim they will not watch if Lily is dead you need to curl up with your cats, have a cup of tea and read romance novels. This show is not for you.

Life was hard then. People died. Nasty deeds were done. That's just the reality of it all, and I personally think the writers have done an excellent job of portraying it. No one likes to lose a beloved character, but hey, that's the way it was.

I will continue to watch for as long as the show airs, and I hope it keeps delivering the gut wrenching story of what it could have been like living in a railroad camp. Well done.

Ugh, Lily better not be dead, i doubt she is, the writers cannot be that dense, and if they are they must have something even more intriguing/amazing up their sleeves. But Lily was the greatest counterpart to Cullen. She is probably still breathing and is still alive, I'm living onthat hope for now.

I don't think Lily is dead because if you look closely as the camera panned at her, there was a pulse by her neck, hence Cullen made that slight reaction to his face...the kind that he can't believe that she's alive. That's why he took her to Ruth because how can a guy at that time take care of a woman who is not his wife, another woman would be appropriate in taking care of her. Plus if she's dead, he would have really be so mad at the Swede, he was reserved because he does not want to let him know that she's actually alive.

If Mr. O'Toole came back from being shot in the mouth by Elam then the writers need to find a way to bring LILY back!!!

Killing off Lily RUINED the show for both me and my wife, we are both still furious days later, it served no purpose and as a matter of fact it destroyed all the groundwork that was laid in the previous two seasons, especially in the brutal dispicable manner with which she was dispatched, by a character whose brains Bohannon should have blown out ten times already, it's almost ridiculous to believe that Bohannon can euthanise his best friend yet would continue to let a man as knowingly evil and cunning as the Swede live time after time. He already lost his wife and kid and hasn't finished his quest for vengeance for them, now they kill off his chance for redemption and love, there is only so much a man can take before he would just snap and not care about anything anymore. I won't be watching season 3, I'm sick of these writers thinking they are so clever,I'm getting flashbacks of "Prison Break" ,another show that was ruined for us by the nihilist writers.

I don't think Lily is dead because Bohannon brought her to Ruth because he knew she would pray for Lily's healing.

Great show and will miss if does not return. Writers made big mistake with swede's brutal killing of the guard. Killing off Lily mskes no sense at all. She and Cullen are the mainstays of the show.
Bring back the show and Lily

Personally, I felt as though I had lost a member of my family last night when Lily died. I, for one, will NOT be watching a Season 3 unless they can find a way to resurrect her. I agree that the writers need to remember Dallas and see what they can creatively come up with!

I just want to make a clarification: It is not because I am a woman I was disturbed with this finale. I do not need romance in the plot to watch a show or movie. It was the way it happened, and its lack of purpose, other than to pretend that this is a serious series "not for sissies..." It was also my feminist (not my "feminine") self that protested the brutal killing of a strong female lead who challenged gender stereotypes.
