I love Lavone and Wade (my favs.) Honesty, I was NOT a fan of Zoey in this episode, but, I was PROUD of Wade. Go Wade! Zoey is the one who needs to spend time ALONE.

The writing this season is making Zoe look really bad. What exactly is she doing with Wade if she still wants George? I am honestly perplexed with this show right now I don't know what to think.
I am not a fan of George & Zoe together. I like them both, well I'm liking Zoe less & less each week but I like George just not with her.
I wonder if when she leaves Wade for George (its inevitable) will she then find out about Wade making the gumbo for her.
I'm hoping that when (not if) she leaves Wade & sleeps w/George that she discovers he isnot all that & I'm hoping he is not "awesome" in bed. I want her to want Wade like she wants him.
I also hope Wade opens up his bar & be a success without her.
But I still want Zade in the end.

Just watched this week's episode. I think the thing I really love about this show is that Zoe is great with both George AND Wade. She has great, different chemistry with both of them which makes you kind of root for both of them! It is fun to see her with Wade now but I think it will also be fun to see her with George in the future!

Ok these character limits stink LOL
She is going into it with Wade without any roadblocks and hangups about screwing up the relationship before it even has a chance to get off the ground. And the more she is with Wade the more she wants from him. She just hasn't realized it yet, but she keeps inching him and her toward a more real connection. So the road is long and windy but they will get there eventually and probably won't even realize it until they are at the destination.

He'll worry about tomorrow when tomorrow comes. But for now he has Zoe. And he isn't going to do anything to jeopardize that until he realizes that he needs to look down the road and imagine himself with her. To give Zoe credit I do think that she will willingly see Wade like that because I think that part of her wants that. She wants Wade. She has shown that by her actions time and time again.
As for George, Zoe does see him as a long term guy. The problem is her picture of him is still based on fantasy. She is unwilling to chance ruining her perfect picture of their relationship by actually having a relationship with him. At some point she is going to have to though because she can't move on with Wade while she is hung up on George and that fantasy.
Mean while since she doesn't see herself long term with Wade it is safe to have fun with him for now. She is going into it with Wade without any roadblocks and hangups about screwing up the relationship before it even has a

So a few days later and some sleep makes things a little easier to accept. LOL I will admit that for a good 36 hours after this episode I was firmly in the camp of hating Zoe and how can she do this to Wade etc.
I agree completely with T and Louve. Zoe isn't intentionally leading the guys on. I do think that unintentionally she is though and isn't aware of it. It isn't her fault it is really George and Wade's fault for not stepping up and demanding more and making a decision. They all seem to be just fine with this arrangement.
Wade and Zoe don't see themselves in a long term relationship. Part of that is completely on Wade's shoulders. He himself doesn't see himself in that role or deserving of it. So until he steps up and realizes that he deserves more we can't blame Zoe for accepting what he is showing her. He is totally into the casual monogamous thing because it means that he has her now. Back to his whole speech. He'll worry about tomorrow when tomorrow come

Completely agree with Louve. Zoe is being honest about what (she thinks) she wants. Wade is aware of the details of the situation and has agreed to Zoe's terms and has now put his own conditions out there as well. It's still going to lead to hurt feelings and drama and silliness because a) it's a tv show and b) there's clearly some denial on everyone's parts as to how strong feelings actually are. Zoe and Wade are making some DUMB decisions here, but they're not being cruel or intentionally leading each other on. Comparing her behavior to George's - who repeatedly claimed not to have any feelings for Zoe and made Lemon feel like she was crazy and jealous before dumping her at the altar - is unfair.
I also wish people would stop throwing the phrase so-and-so "deserves" someone else or not. People are not prizes/rewards.

far). I think she would probably stop to fantasize about George if she knew she had a real chance with Wade.
3) She's not using Wade: he accepted the terms of their "casual sex" being totally aware of Zoe's feelings for George (she never denied it). He doesn't want to pressure her and he's hoping she'll choose him over George when she realizes she's happy with him. Contrary to all appearances (is that english?), Wade is a wise and kind guy, he is the only one to have a complete understanding of the situation Zoe's in and he doesn't make her feel bad about her "messiness". He and Lavon are my favorite characters in this show, they don't judge anyone and they're very patient.

Some comments are not fair to the Zoe character.
She 's not lying to herself or to Wade and George:
1) She clearly told Wade that she felt a connection between them after they had sex the firt time and that they should give it a try and HE didn't take the opportunity to express his feelings and say what he really wants. That's why she doesn't believe she can have a serious relationship with Wade, he doesn't sound like he's capable of having one or willing to have one. He's not confident enough to get into this and he makes it look like he's just all about fun.
2) She clearly told George in this episode that she was in a relationship with someone she has feelings for (ok she didn't reveal that that person is Wade) and that he should do the same. She's afraid of being his rebound girl, meaning that their relationship could be doomed because of bad timing. So she wants him to "rebound" with someone else before they start dating (but not with any random silly girl like he did so

Did not like Zoe at all in this episode. Dragging Wade around town to help the guy she's admittedly still hung up on. I'm firmly Team Wade & was so proud of him for enforcing "the rules" & not succumbing to the slutty nurse. Right now, it's starting to look like Zoe is the one who doeesn't deserve Wade. Mollie I agree. Iam TOO tried of her and her lies. I can respect her having feeling for George but what I don't like is how she and George USE people and then throw them away. Iam SICK of Zoey and George both. At this point I wish they leave. Wade was right she is walking country song...a total MESS. She needs to Woman Up.

Oops - let's try the end of this again :)
The fact that Wade was pretty much any girl's dream bf in that episode and kept being there for her as she was totally screwing him over made it extra rotten. Both Wade and George were honest and honorable there - it's Zoe who needs to become a better person to deserve Wade, not the other way around.

Yikes. The writing for this episode was pretty bad - way to screw with continuity. What was the point of Zoe growing and developping feelings for Wade if it was only to have her negate that for a guy she actually barely knows and has a relationship with that is based on a fantasy? It's fine that she still has feelings for George, but I thought she was past pretending not the have them for Wade too (she actually said she might in the premiere THIS season). The writers shouldn't throw Zoe and Wade's great relationship under the bus to amp up Zoe/George - not when they spend zero time actually developping ZG and we see ZW growing closer every week. You can't just say these big love speeches every once in a while and believe people should just accept it as true. They made Zoe look SO bad. The fact was pretty much any girl's dream bf in that episode adn kept being there for her as she was totally screwing him over made it extra rotten. Both Wade and George were honest and honorable there -

Finally I realized what Z and G have in common. Neither are faithful in a relationship nor do they care about others feelings. Z has become a female version of G. She is treating W the same way G treated her (rebound). I CAN respect her feeling for G but I can't respect how she's using W just as G used both her and L. To watch her in action last night reminded me how G treated L. Z made the rules and I if she can't honor them why would you expect anything different from her if she was with G.

R, I don't aggree with you on George. George is not immature. It's not that he doesn't see through her crap like Wade does, it's that he brings out the best in her, while Wade brings out the immature teenager in her. So of course he tells her to her face afterwards. George is grown up and knows what he wants. He wants Zoe and doesn't want to waste time dating other women. He has questioned his relationship with Lemon all through last year and slowly realised he was in love with Zoe. So of course he's waiting for her to be ready to be with him. He feels like he wasted a full year already and doesn't want to waste more time.
