Gossip Girl and Twilight Execs Team Up for Scary CW Drama

What happens when Gossip Girl meets The Twilight Saga? Fans of The CW will soon find out.

Executive producers Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage have teamed up with director Catherine Hardwicke on a series titled Copeland Prep, which focuses on life inside a private high school whose students turn into actual monsters due to the surrounding pressure and competition.

The CW has ordered a script for the pilot, which will be written by another big name: Brett Easton Ellis (American Psycho).

Warner Bros TV will produce the program along with Schwartz and Savage's Fake Empire, the company behind Hart of Dixie, The Carrie Diaries and Cult.
