Chandra Wilson Teases Bailey Wedding, Mark Send-Off

by at . Comments

Grey's Anatomy star Chandra Wilson will be back behind the camera this season, directing the season's sixth episode. Not that Grey's Anatomy Season 9 will lack for Wilson on screen.

As Miranda prepares to exchange vows with Ben, Wilson notes that "when Callie got married, Bailey told her, 'I've already done the wedding dress and the church and it didn't work out.'"

"I have a feeling [her wedding] won't be all that traditional."

Wedding Shot-Caller

As for Eric Dane's departure from the series, Wilson says:

"They've come up with a really creative send-off for Mark, especially for the die-hard Grey's fans. Eric gets the chance to do some really beautiful stuff in the first two episodes."

We wouldn't miss it. How do you think Mark will exit the show, and what lies ahead for Bailey in the coming season? Share your thoughts on all things Grey's Anatomy below.

I don't think there will be ghosts cause I think Shonda talked about that in an interview, saying that having Denny's ghost was already more than enough, and that she wouldn't do that again...

Am I the only one who can see Mark and Lexie elevator final scene? Lexie's ghost will probably show up and take Mark away.

Sick of reading post's of people that don't like the show. Just stop watching if u don't like anymore. For people that don't like, you all sure spend a lot of time checking here what's happening and making comment's.

I think I'm at the point where I honestly don't care what happens to Mark anymore. Whatever Shonda chooses to do will either be extremely stupid or completely over the top.
As for Bailey's wedding, of course she'll make it difficult. God forbid that Bailey gets a chance at normal for a change.

Mark is definately dying and he probably will have some sad/ funny goodbyes his ghost/soul self and the other characters. Meanwhile his body will be dying. Lexie's death really tore me up because of the character she was and how she affected everyone some way of another. Lexie and Mark dying will most certainly put Meredith and Derek in a dark place for awhile.

"some really beautiful stuff" most likely means organ donation. Next. =.=

Knowing Rhimes, something "beautiful" will be organ donation.

I hope happy and creative mean Lexie ALIVE and that she didn't die. It was Mark's dream. And he will have to go a special hospital to recoop maybe out of the country and Lexie go with him and take care of him because Callie can't leave Sophia and Arizona who is hurt. I am tried of people I LOVE on this show dying. I am a die-hard Fan since the beginning. I want a HAPPY ENDING. I want LEXIE and MARK to leave ALIVE TOGETHER. Shonda need to make right what was wronged in 8th season. SHE PROMISED US A HAPPY ENDING! DEATH IS NOT HAPPY ENDING IN THIS CASE!

I hope that when they say something "beautiful" related to Mark's departure, they really mean it. Cause they said that about Lexie's death, but Lexie died in like 10 minutes in the season finale and after a very expected dialogue with Mark "you're the one, I love you, blah blah". As I said many times, the intentions were probably good but the writing was terrible. I suppose though that here it will involved baby Sofia and some heartbreaking goodbyes with Derek and Callie. Or maybe he'll die and will donate his organs ? Or I don't know.

Grey's Anatomy Quotes

Did you say it? 'I love you. I don't ever want to live without you. You changed my life.' Did you say it? Make a plan. Set a goal. Work toward it, but every now and then, look around; Drink it in 'cause this is it. It might all be gone tomorrow."

Meredith (closing voiceover)

Lexie: [narrating] Grief may be a thing we all have in common, but it looks different on everyone.
Mark: It isn't just death we have to grieve. It's life. It's loss. It's change.
Alex: And when we wonder why it has to suck so much sometimes, has to hurt so bad. The thing we gotta try to remember is that it can turn on a dime.
Izzie: That's how you stay alive. When it hurts so much you can't breathe, that's how you survive.
Derek: By remembering that one day, somehow, impossibly, you won't feel this way. It won't hurt this much.
Bailey: Grief comes in its own time for everyone, in its own way.
Owen: So the best we can do, the best anyone can do, is try for honesty.
Meredith: The really crappy thing, the very worst part of grief is that you can't control it.
Arizona: The best we can do is try to let ourselves feel it when it comes.
Callie: And let it go when we can.
Meredith: The very worst part is that the minute you think you're past it, it starts all over again.
Cristina: And always, every time, it takes your breath away.
Meredith: There are five stages of grief. They look different on all of us, but there are always five.
Alex: Denial.
Derek: Anger.
Bailey: Bargaining.
Lexie: Depression.
Richard: Acceptance.
