Revenge: Casting for Doctor, Protege

ABC is seeking a pair of recurring players for Revenge Season 2.
According to network casting notes, the thriller will feature the following characters this fall:
- A doctor in his late 30s who is the founder of a recovery center and, we're gonna go ahead and presume, the man tasked with caring for a still-alive Victoria Grayson.
- Eve, a protege of Ashley's who is interested in the life of a party planner.
The show is yet to cast a couple of the biggest Season 2 roles, of course: Emily's mother and Victoria's mother.
Revenge did announce, though, Barry Sloane will portray a man from Emily's past. Hmmm... but would that be Emily's past or Amanda's past? It's all a bit confusing - and awesome.
