Polly Walker Cast in Major Role on The Mentalist
Polly Walker will play a key role on The Mentalist Season 5.
The British actress (Rome, Caprica) will recur on the CBS drama as FBI Agent Alexa Shultz, described by Michael Ausiello of TV Line as "gorgeous, fierce and incredibly competent."
No word yet on exactly how this agent will fit into Patrick Jane's world, but we won't need to wait too long to find out.
Walker - a Golden Globe nominee - will debut on The Mentalist season premiere, scheduled for September 30.

Since we've spent a lot of time trying to figure out who Red John is, I suppose the writers aim to thicken the plot and further frustrate us by giving us some new suspects, with the usual "clues" that end up going nowhere. Well, it keeps my favorite TV series of all time fascinating (not that it needs any help).

Love Polly Walker, from way back when I first saw her on a Hercule Poirot mystery. The Mentalist, though? Not so much :(
