Michael Rowe has signed on to the first season of Arrow.

The British actor will guest star on episode three as Deadshot, the Suicide Squad member well known to comic book fans.

As Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim told Damian Holbrook of TV Guide, the character "doesn't speak much," so Rowe landed the role on what Guggenheim can only describe as "that look."

There's a strong chance that this hitman will interact with Stephen Amell's Oliver Queen beyond this single episode, as Arrow prepares to launch on Wednesday, October 10.

Earlier today, Guggenheim, Amell and Katie Cassidy previewed Arrow at the show's Q&A session with reporters at the Television Critics Association summer press tour.
