No. If this last part of this season truly wants to end on a bang and live up to its first season. they will have to focus on that. If they end S6 on some sort of cliffhanger to promote interest in a possible future movie, well that'd be disappointing!

I was actually hoping they would make a GG Psycho Killer movie adaptation. I think it would be PERFECT if it's R rated and true to its book. I don't think there's any other movie out there like it! Just finished the book and honestly think it would be a GREAT movie that they would have fun doing. I'm sure they will too; it's pretty gory and funny. Sincerely hoping.

Premature to talk about the film. We have not seen what is the end of the series. Then the question arises whether it is possible to assemble the same cast? Most actors do not want to shoot season 6, but they are required by contract. Probably, after the end of the series should take some time to shoot a film. But the big problem will be actors, and whether they want to shoot film at all. If it is not possible to assemble the same cast, then the film loses its meaning!

YES I've always wanted a Gossip girl movie either a prequel or like in the new American pie how they have that reunion :) or maybe they can do both ;) but if they planning to make a movie like a time jump they need to wait a few more years and have like a new generation in between so will get used to the fact there is a new era and then the old tea is making a come back ;) like you know . :D I've always wanted a movie and a new generation :D.. Hopefully the movie is a presqual talk about that infamous night of Serena and Nate ;) on what really happen but yeah we've heard of it too many times so yeah but flashbacks would be cool :D

yes there should be a movie, with the NJBC.
either a movie set before the series starts or a 5/10 year jump into the future.
