1. I'd go with Mark and Lexie, "Meant To Be" moment. So intense and sad.
2. I honestly thought it would be Arizona or April or Derek.
3. Surprised? Hell, I was shocked. I never ever ever thought they would kill Lexie. She was ma fav, I really really really liked her. I am so sad and angry. Loved her and Mark together and the creator gave "Meant To Be" thing. How sad :( Of course, I will miss her like anything. I think a part of me will miss her always and keep cursing creators for doing that too Lexie.
4. Well this was nice and shocking finale. But my all time fav is Season 2 finale, then S06 then S08 and then S05. Season 6 finale was out of the world and just so so so so amazing. Season 6 and Season 2 finale tops ma list and then comes this season 8 one.
5. Lexie aka Little Grey, I have exactly no words and I am pathetic when it comes to say about someone I love. I am not at all "THE TALK" kind a person. So here it goes, I will miss you Lexie Grey. You were amazing, beau

Okay everybody. Close down your petitions because it's not gonna work. One of our favorite characters died and she ain't comin' back! They aren't going to try to work the ghost routine again because a lot of fans hated it and Shonda has mentioned that. I doubt they'll make all of this a dream sequence because that ticked off the Dallas fans and they had an uproar. AND, there are signed contracts for the remaining original six. They aren't going anywhere either. I don't think money was the issue for Dempsey. He wants to race cars, period. Why not stick around for a lightened work load with a guaranteed paycheck? As much as it sucks right now, I'm sure that Shonda and the other writers will work out some great stuff for us next season. We just have to wait until September.

1.When Mer was worrying that Der had died too & Der appeared saying he'd heard her shouting & then he collapsed. Relief that MerDer were reunited in the woods, but not at home with Zola. A visit from Der's mom has gotta be a must happen at the beginning of S9.
2.I was mislead initally but my final choice was Lexie.
3.No surprise.Lexie was initally interesting cos Mer didn't want to know her.Lexie's death is gonna affect Mer7Mark profoundly. But I didn't enjoy the way Lex only operated with Der all the time in S8. But IMO Shonda knew she was preparing for Lexie to be written out some time ago.
4.The promos & publicity meant GA fans knew this was gonna be hard to watch with a character being killed off. I need some happiness in S9, PLZ!

WOW! This is so stupid I am so mad every season the kill somebody off! Why would they kill LEXIE! It is going to be so hard to watch the show now because Mark is going to be so depressed and if Derek dies I will never watch the show again! One reason was because of Meredith is going to be so sad and Zola will not have a father it will just be to sad to watch!

Oh & Shonda Rhimes, if you happen to read this, which I doubt but anyway..shut down Private Practice, so you can focus on writing brilliance for Grey's again. Bring Kate Walsh (Addison) back to Grey's Anatomy for Mark. Find Cristina a not-so-demanding man who's on the same page as her & Let Kate H come back for Karev since he's somewhat a nice, decent human being now and end the show on a nice high note.

I am also going to give props to Jessica Capshaw for coming into the show and making it more interesting at a time when stupid ghosts were roaming the halls. I always loved Callie, but I loved her even more after Arizona came along, because she matured, and the two of them together, helped Mark mature too. Owen is a cheater, so I don't really have anything good to say about that character but whatever. Here's to hoping Season 9 will be great and everyone LIVES! because noone deserves to die tragically just because they have annoying habits, or are gay or they're not the man of your dreams and/or are taking screen time from your favorite character, right?

I really hate when people say that someone else should have died in Lexie's place, it's ignorant & ridiculous. Why did anyone have to die really? I am willing to bet the cast cutting happened because the mcdreamies wanted tons of money to pay off their ego's to return. As for the storylines not being as good as once were, I really think Shonda Rhimes is more interested in getting another hit show off the ground to even pay the attention that she once did to Grey's Anatomy. Which I think is a bad move on her part. Since I am on a rant, I may as well add that Chyler Leigh could act circles around Ellen Pompeo. Meredith is the most annoying character on the show as far as I am concerned, always playing the damsel in distress, ditz that panics. Cristina makes her likeable. Cristina, Callie & Bailey are the real deal ladies as well as the best actresses on the show, who've been carrying the show since the beginning. i think that they are aiming for 10 seasons and shonda seems to be setting it up for closure.. it makes since that they all stay through fellowships and then end with everyone going separate ways to be an attending. we have already seen them grow soo much, might as well finish it up. as for lexie, i really didnt want it to be her but it was really the only one who could affect everyone like that... RIP little Grey. chyler will be missed as an actor.

4.I think it was too much ! And bits of it were overplayed ! Particulary Ellen Pompeo's part was very very poorly executed !
5. Lexie, you've been one of my favourite characters since day one, I loved your optimism, you gave a breath of fresh air to the show with your nevroses and craziness. You were a great friend, sister, aunt and surgeon ! RIP

1. As weird as it might seem, when Christina was draining Mark's tamponade, I loved the back and forth between the hospital and the woods, it was kind of ironical to see all these great surgeon, who were used to top equipment reduced to using the tube of a moisturiser to cure one of their owns !
2.At first, I had thought it was gonna be Arizona because of Callie's speech and because she wasn't even supposed to be on the plane in the first place, but then, I realized what they had been doing to Lexie was the exact same thing as what they had done to George in the 5th season ! Less and less screen time, says (or does) something bold, is killed off !
3.I was only half surprised it was Lexie ! I will most definitely miss her, she gave me hope since she was one of the only Seattle Grace residents who hadn't had a screwed-up childhood and still was a surgeon... Grey's was making me think you had to be twisted to be a good surgeon !

Time for the show to end. Thge writers have lost it, the characters no longer have any consistancy and the plots are beyond ridiculous. The finale was desperate. Perhaps if
Chyler Leigh had had a reasonable story line and some decent character developent, she wouldn't have wanted to leave. Or perhaps she was pushed.......
Anyway, farewell Grey's, I'll miss the characters as they used to be, but not the charicatures they have become.

1.Since I'm a Grey's Anatomy junkie,I'd say that I loved this episode and every single scene.Mark and Lexie scene was sad and beautiful at the same time
2.Since the rumor started about this death I changed my theories about who is going to die every single day.And I killed almost every single character.But after we saw the people on the plane and everybody got a close-up but Lexie,she was high on my list.
3.And definitely I'm not surprised.Of course Lexie Grey will be missed.She had a great dynamic with every character
4.Classic Grey's Anatomy episode- big tragedy,lots of tiers,funny moments,what elesi can I say

I'm going to miss Lexie and really did'nt want her to go.I did'nt want Meredith to lose another loved one.I wish it was april who got the boot.Oh well as long as Meredith and Derek are still in the show I'm good w that I also want Cristina and Owen to get back together I love them.

What the hell lexie!!! She was awesome since merdith got married shes borring I used to love her drunk episodes and now shes all drama like and not fun at all thats what lexie kept alive... After last seasons finale with the shooting in the hgospital nothing can compare this accident was a weak plan at best the effects sucked butt come on not even a fire? seriously? n the acting was really not what i expected merdith crying... was painfull it looked so foreced,... nothing flowed in the finale looked like a cuts pasted togther and it was very poorly done very dissaponted Greys is my all time fav show and i hope it isnt dying

1. Lexie and Mark's scene for obvious, heart renching reasons..... but I found it so very touching when Christina and Lexie talk. They both know what's happening, tears coming down Christina's face and she says she'll be right back. bless 'em
2. I really thought it was gonna be Arizona. and not because I don't like her. I do like her (and Callie) a lot but.... with her friend dying and her declaring to Callie 'don't you ever leave me'.... I just thought :(
3. Will miss Lexie a lot. Lexipedia :). not her rants so much but she was so in love with mark and her smile was super sweet.
4. I've liked all the finales in different ways.... all of them had there good bits. some more exciting, some more traumatic, some more devastating. I say: good job (with what they had to work with... uncertainty!)
5. RIP little grey. your sister and soul mate will be heartbroken.

definitely disappointed in this finale. why couldn't it just be a happy ending with all the doctors leaving? how unlucky is mcdreamy ... getting shot, getting in a plane crash? Lexi dying? Really? She's only the hottest woman on the cast. Why couldn't she have just gotten back with Sloane, and have been happy? OH, the flare gun didn't work? So they throw it rather than try to figure out why it was broken? Was it even loaded? What about building a big fire with leaves burning to make smoke. No one realized the plane crashed all day? REALLY? No mayday call was sent out? The plane beacon was broken? Just lame! Bad writing! I will no longer watch this show. Was getting boring anyway.

Im gonna miss lexie and it sucks that shes gone but im not too horribly broken up over it. I was more worried when christina realized mark was hurt, I was thanking arizona for reminding him of all he has to live for. As far as both finale and death I found this one dissappointing. Even denny had a better finale/death and that to me doesnt even begin to touch georges death. That one hit my HARD, partly cause of him in his class As at the end and my husband was overseas but that was my most memorable finale/death. As far as the episode as a whole I found this to be the worst finale greys has had. I LOVED callies scene telling kepner/alex/avery about getting fired her husband cheating and then dying and kepners "you were married... To a man?" Hahaha cracked me up

Actually i like how the episode jumps back and forth from the plane crash and the hospital.
Especially during mark's surgery. I think it's kinda cool.
And also how callie has a patient with a broken femur - like arizona.
But pleaaase i dont want anyone else to die. Although i somehow think shonda will kill another one or two when the next season starts.
