  3. janet

    there you go again michael lying get off your planet and come down to earth.

  4. Michael

    @Janet

    Stan a bigger star then Ziva since cote has said that season 10 might be her last her character and Tony are Over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ITs want the fanbase wants it want the fanbase NEEDS!

  5. janet

    @michael they are just teasing each other they are really in love which we will see soon they are only 9 stars on NCIS and stan isnt one of them.by the way michael how can anyone be miss up in the head or maybe this is what the cool kids say.

  6. CG

    NCIS stands for Naval CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIVE Service. They are tasked with INVESTIGATING CRIMES
    involving the US Navy and Marine Corps.
    In the episode Silver War, Gibbs told Jenny to send Ziva to the CIA because that's where her skills would be better utilized. Why would a spy need criminal investigation training?
    In the episode Rule 51, Gibbs said, "I think I would be a good cop."
    In the episode Driven, Tony told the arrogant scientist guy, "We're cops, Federal Agents, Police Officers."
    In the episode Witness, McGee told Erin he always wanted to be in law enforcement.
    Every time someone gives Tony a hard time for being nosy, he says that it makes him a better investigator.
    The show is described as a character driven, crime procedural. I have never heard it described as a team of spies.

  7. Nat

    @CG Ummm, No....Pat is right. They actually ARE Spies, and always HAVE been. Also the reference to go back and study up on NCIS canon is justified as well. You cannot claim to watch this show and NOT know that you're watching trained team of Federal Investigative SPIES. I cannot even count how many times Gibbs/Tony/Ziva/Tim have referenced this. The SPY BUSINESS is what they work in. So doesn't the CIA and FBI. Look it up.

  8. Michael

    @ Janet if you were a real NCIS fan you would know why we were happy to have him back but since your not then well your lost

    Ziva and Tony getting closer is closer if you call her calling him dead weight worthless and a loser for not saying that little girl closer then you are really miss up in the head Janet

  9. janet

    dont know why some people are exited about someone called stan coming back who cares.tony and ziva seem to be getting closer and closer with each episode its nice the way they poke fun at each other but never in a cruel way like the ziva haters want us to belive.

  10. Michael

    OMG your so right AJA :( and from the picture I have seen you may be right

  11. Denise

    LOVED this episode. It's gonna be a very long summer for us to wait for the season 10 premiere if this is anything we have to look forward to. The rest of season 9 is gonna be awesome.

  12. AJA

    Careful not to get too excited Michael. Yes, Stan Burley is coming back for an episode. But given the history of writing on this show, since Tony was actually portrayed as competent last week, it may be time for some major humiliation for the guy. They never allow him to be heroic two episodes in a row. Stan may be back as the senior agent in Naples, but his real purpose may be to worship Ziva, while Tony is written as insecure and jealous. We could have Ziva cruelly snarking away that Stan is 20 times the agent Tony is, with Tony humiliating himself, trying to measure up. Hopefully, they won't go down this road, but frankly, I'm a bit anxious.

    @PAT

    The United States Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) is the primary security, counter-intelligence, counter-terrorism, and law enforcement agency of the United States Department of the Navy. It is the successor organization to the former Naval Investigative Service (NIS).

    Now did anyone hear who from SEASON 1 is coming back!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  14. TeamNCISfan

    Guess we'll have to disagree Mzlady. I think some team members are devoted to and depend on one another, and some do not. The difference between Tony and Ziva's snark is the when Tony delivers it - he smiles, when Ziva delivers it - she sneers. How easy it seems to be to forget that Ziva tried to get Tony kicked off the team because she felt she couldn't trust him. And just last week, she begged Gibbs not to let him accompany her to Colombia, calling him dead weight. These are hardly the actions or words of a "fiercely devoted" co worker.

  15. CG

    They actually are not a team of spies. They are a team of Crime Scene Investigators. They work on the MCRT (Major Case/Crimes Response Team).
    Espionage is one of the crimes they deal with, but they are not spies. Cops, Federal Agents, Police Officers. Ziva used to be a spy, but as she said in Shalom, "I am an investigator".

  16. Pat

    @Michael Lesson #27 for you: They are ALL Spies. This is a Naval series centered on a Federal Team of highly-trained SPIES. This IS, in fact, a SPY procedural. That is what they do for a LIVING. They spy on other spies. They spy on each OTHER. That is why they WORK there. Go back and study up on the series, and educate yourself.

  17. MzLady

    lol @ one-dimensional so-called "Team" fans. How ironic :-) Seeing that Tony is THE one and only reigning KING of Snarkdom on the show, any "exploding" ship Tim or Ziva would be on..HE as the captain would go down w/ it INSTANTLY. Any lurking "TeamNCIS" player should recognize that fact immediately. This team is fiercely devoted to one another and RELIES on each other. As Tony JUST said in the previous episode, he could NOT function without Ziva nor any of the others. Tony will ALWAYS be the Snarkiest and Sarcastic as ever because that is part of his established on the show, in case you forgot - but his mates are more than capable of dishing it right BACK to him as good as he gives it. THAT'S why it works, for this particular show.

  18. Eula

    I totally agree with {guest} everything down to an awesome episode to not seeing the butchy JLC. {ugh}. Did I see that someone wrote that EJ might come back. If she does tony needs to stay away from her she is not for him has a love interest and that ex~fiancé she is ugly no sex appeal and EJ is just plain old not to be trusted.
    No JLC is a great episode.
    This is to the person :
    Team NCIS fan leave ziva alone. When she replaced Kate that was the best decision she Is so cute her ways are awesome. she Is a great actress unlike Kate she is a prude thinks she is better than the team. Good riddens Kate.
    If the show is so bad then why is :team NCIS fan always watching: STOP WATCHING.
    Michael W {love of my life}
    my favorite. Gibbs handsome.
    Every time it runs on tbs or Cloo {re~runs}
    I am glued to the tv. If Kate is on it I don't watch it.
    Abby Tim Ducky Palmer my Tuesday family.

    Fabulous episode! My whole family screamed when it ended! We wanted more. Love the new info on Tony and loved that it was Ziva who was concerned about him and said "we have to talk to him about it." She picks on him alot - but she also clearly cares. Can't wait for the next episode.

  20. Michael

    I don't know why but NCIS always seem better in begging and the ending of the season escape for season 7

  21. TeamNCISfan

    Well guest, we may just have to disagree. I don't dislike the Ziva character because she took Kate's place. As a matter of fact, I found her fine in her first two seasons. It was when she was turned into princess perfect, wonder woman, poor victim, and superior snark dispenser that my dislike grew. If Tony's mission is to "keep things loose and in good sprits in the bullpen" then Ziva's job must be to make the bullpen into a personally insulting, competitive, unpleasant place, where she can extol her own superiority over Tony. I'm just tired of the schtick. Part of it is the way CdP delivers these types of lines. Instead of it feeling like light hearted teasing, it comes off as smug, judgmental, and self impressed IMO.

  22. guest

    Personnell i thought it was a very moving episode with tony going into the burning building having to make a choice of who to save, and i thought the character jason did great, i would agree l like see more jason, tony, palmer, abby and less jlc

    I loved this episode. I'm so glad that they showed who Tony really was, and the true reason why he became involved in law enforcement. It was great how they played this out and that Tony and Jason came to an understanding. Although, I would think that Jason would be able to come to that conclusion on his own, especially after becoming a arson inspector. I loved that they made it into an arc for the next episode while they go into the May sweeps.
    Love this show and this episode reminded me why.

  24. Michael

    Stan Burley IS COMING BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    This episode was great because Jamie Lee wasn't in it. Above all it was great.
    I really felt for Jason, dealing with the lose of his little sister, and Tony having to live with the fact that he had to make a choice. He really only had one choice to make. I wish they would show more of Ducky and Palmer. Ducky is sexy in his own way. I was impressed with this episode. Keep up the good work and lets kick some real butt once in awhile, it keeps us jumping!!
