The return of the ring actually can mean Rufus ring, or Bart's. Lily married Rufus because she thought Bart is dead, but now everything is rotating upside down. She can choose Rufus or Bart. Or Dans engagement ring for blair.
Other thing, about Blair and Dan. Why she's stealing Dans phone if she is going to choose Chuck? not logical at all. Except, she choosing Dan and want to win time, before telling him true about her diary.
About Serena, she may trickt Nate and Lola. She may have find out about their plan, and just pretend that she‘s no longer a gossip girl. Now, no one is thinking about her like a gossip girl because Nates and Lolas plan worked and first gossip girl massage was about Serena and Blair. So, like everyone knows it, Serena still love Dan, and perhaps she doing all this nonsense for Dan.
Serena and Dan will not be together at this episode. Why? Look promo more carefully: „Serena, there is no us“.

I agree. I love Chuck and the fact is that Blair has destroyed his happiness, like the blondie that "saved" his life. I do like them together though. I didn't like that in the episode where Lola is in a play that is Dan's book, Blair "realizes" that Dan always loved her, when in reality Chuck always has. He thought she was saying no to him so he slept with Dan's sister and she gets mad then he meets a girl is happy and Blair wants him and destroys that relationship. Then chuck and her get together and something bad happens and then blair ends with louie and loves chuck but won't be with him. I blame blair. but Im all for Chair!

So get off the "perfection" high horse and stop blaming someone for past mistakes, judge them on the present because who you are yesterday is not who you are today. I don’t give a damn for Dair or Chair. Chuck has been through more agonising pain than anyone on this series and he deserves to be commended for not letting it consume him. TEAM BASS!

(cont.) I don't like these double standards. Blair is no saint either. Everyone has done questionable things but if one were to look overall Chuck is the one that has progressed the most. He has done some remarkable things despite what he's been through. How many times did Blair screw with his feelings this season and in a moment of confusion he made a mistake that he apologised for and made amends. Season 1, 2 and 3 Chuck would never have done that, let alone agreed to raise someone else's child. Frankly, I'd be fine if Dan and Blair end up together (even if Dan is a worse person with her and has seemed more miserable than happy) as long as Chuck gets the happiness that he has earned this season by making the change: he is facing just as many painful trials as the past but his methods of coping with it are different. He has become someone worthy of respect. It's Gossip Girl people; we complain it's boring but want the characters to be perfect? Not how it works. Not what Gossip Girl i

I see people stating that Chuck hasn't changed at all and that bothers me. Chuck has changed tremendously in the last season. Yes, he has made one or two mistakes along the way but that's what makes this change so real. If it was a miraculous change with no learning curbs it wouldn't be credible at all! He's learning as he goes. The one or two slips everyone jumps at the chance to say he's a monster but he is human; every other character in this show has made those mistakes this season. It's freaking Gossip Girl people, not One Tree Hill of the later seasons. If everyone was perfect what would be the point of Gossip Girl? Furthermore, give credit where credit is due. Dan also schemed throughout this season and personality wise he's become even more judgemental and cruel. The way he turned on Chuck the instant it suited him and let other people take the blame for his mistakes is wrong too. If Chuck had sent the video in during the wedding he'd be evil for some but Dan is "courageous"? I

OMG! Bart Bass is alive! I think that may be interesting for the whole plot!
I think, Blair will choose Chuck because she realizes how much she loves him and always will.
Dan will go to Rome and participe the fellowship. But who do you think, will be Serena's new love interest. They say that will be someone we already know. Do you think anybody will return to the show, someone like Carter? Or will it be Dan?
And what do you think about Lily's decision about her marriage? I think she will realize how horrible she acted lately and how much she loves Rufus and that they are meant to be together. Maybe she will sale the apartement, or what do you think? Perhaps for now, she will quit her Upper East Side life? But in this case, i think it's too drastic for her.
We'll see! I#m excited and i hope there will be a wonderful finale.

As for Dan scholarship to Rome, maybe you're right, but then it looks like the end of a season 1, when Rufus went on tour, after the wedding of Lily and Bart! If Chuck is responsible for this and around Rome, a man is fighting for the love of his life - Blair!

You're wrong, Dan was not courage to prevent the wedding. If he ever did, he would then admit to Blair that he is in love with her. Dan has used Chuck to get him away from Blair. A video that sent Dan, he received from Serena (with her was left camera). The question is why Dan took the blame on himself (still love for Serena)? As for the guilt for what happened from the marriage is to blame only Blair. No one is forced her to marry a man she does not like! Chuck came to stop her to make a mistake, but as usual when Blair is wrong she is wrong to the end (Yale). A dowry, Chuck is not guilty of anything. On the contrary, Blair is to blame because she married Louis with damaging for her pre-marital agreement. Chuck sent the video how are Dan and Blair kissing, because Dan had snatched from him his girlfriend. Dan was the only one with the courage to stop the wedding with sending the video because he knew Blair didn't love Louis. He didn't think that Blair was going to call him for getting away or that Blair would choose him for now. Without Dan doing that, Blair would be in Monaco with Louis & there would be NO chance of a Chair.Chuck paid the dowry(no need to swear)because it was his fault that the dowry had to be paid in the first place because he sent the pic of Dair kissing. Did you see him rub up against one of the girls @ the brothel? I think he is behind the internship because of his past using of Alessandra. Time will tell. Just saying.

Chuck is changed, it's a fact! He paid a fuc###g dowry for Blair, that's reason enough. Chuck is not furnished a situation around Rome. And if he did it, so what. He returned to tit for tat to Dan. Dan was doing the same for Chuck. Dan was with a deception snatched girl on Chuck. You forgot who sent the video to 100 episode - Dan, and so dropped out of the game Chuck and Louis. Chuck has changed for the better, but therefore Dan has changed for the worse! And the couples that last through a series of 4.5 seasons (Chuck and Blair) and 4 seasons (Serena and Dan) should be the end of the series to have a happy ending! And yes I am a big fan of Serena and Dan!

Been watching since season 1 & I don't feel the same couples HAVE to be together in the end. You are not the same person you are when you are in high school. I am a Dair fan but I don't think the writers have given them any of the passionate chemistry that a couple in their 20s has. I don't think Chuck has changed. I feel he is behind the Rome internship & he will try to divert Blair at a time when he knows Dan needs her to be with him. Time will tell.
Regarding Blair and Chuck: Blair chooses Dan - but things don't go to plan.
Apparently Dan is not returning for season 6 so that should tell us all the information we need to know.

How can anyone say Dan doesn't scheme to win Blair's affections? Did you not see the 100th episode where he sent in that video or last nights episode where he lied straight to her face and said they decided against him for Rome? All he does is try to weasel his way into Blair's heart. Chuck may have been a major jerk but he has also become the man she always wanted him to be. And quite frankly the least juvenile out of all the characters right now.

I respect your opinion, but you have not watched the series from the beginning! This is not real life, this is a TV series, everything is invented. You're wrong when it comes to Chuck. Chuck has changed, he became a better person or what would you said he grew up. Proof of this is – Chuck pay the fu###g dowry for Blair. He has thrown millions of $, and Blair was not with him! As for which who has failed more - both are the same. Blair is not anything better than Chuck in this regard. Chuck and Blair are the same - two sides of one coin, and therefore they are combined. As for Dan, you totally missed! The way you describe Dan, it was only with Serena, and not with Blair. The second, Dan was by fraud came to Blair, have you forgotten the video clip he was sent to GG in 100 episode? Since Dan is with Blair, he has become a worse person than he was when he was with Serena. By the way, I am the man, and I'm a big fan of SERENA AND DAN! Just to be clear.

DAIR, chuck is the same old boring story, scandal love scandal hate you drama love hate you break up, the audience is growing old with this show like the characters, please let them grow up, NO MORE HIGHSCHOOL DRAMA, i am not 18 like most of the girls who started watching gg last year, i watched it since the very first time, and i used to love chair, yeah when i was in highschool- college, not now!!!

if people wants chuck to end up with blair, it means that they are totally pro toxic relationships, chuck was good for blair, yes, in a time where blair was really immature and highschool drama was everything she had, but i do not believe chuck is a man who will make blair grow as a person, itelectually speaking, CHuck will always let her down in some ways, he is a type of guy who will promise to change and somehow among the years he will forget about all those promises and will make blair miserable, on the other hand, dan is a person who is sweet and caring, and who without any schemes gives blair real happiness, plain happiness, without scandals, without pressure i believe most of the girls who want chuck and blair to end up together are not older than 20 years, cause a grown up and mature woman after knowing how man this days are will pay whatever it takes to get a man as caring, mature, friend like dan who can give blair tranquility stability and a family and show her there are muc
