I'm sorry i'm just amused people actually think Dair is viable as endgame at all when most of teh audience hasn't bought into them and they get hated on. But carry on as I watch Chuck and Blair get back together

Dan, without question! After seeing the way he understands her and makes her happy and FINALLY helps her deal with her insecurity instead of paying some paps to make it go away for a few seconds, how can anyone go back to the other guy?

my greatest fear---
Blair will choose Dan. Then next season i'll have to watch another 'who will Blair choose this week' storyline...every week until she chooses Chuck. i'm a Dair fan. But i hope she chooses Chuck so i don't have to endure any more of this.
the only thing i would see as growth is if she chose neither and went off on her own to figure herself out. yes, it would be a repeat of the Nate/Serena/Dan storyline...but Blair needs to do this more than Serena ever did. all Serena did that summer was sleep with a bunch of Parisians while Blair sulked over Chuck in Paris. it would be good to see Blair rebuild herself and when S6 comes back, she's got a job/direction w/o a guy.
I personally want Chuck and Blair together. I think this season finale is the last episode of GG, so I want a Chair reunion, even if it's rushed.
I'm happy that the HW ring will return in the finale, I hope that it's a good sign for Chair, but I'm not optimistic. At least Safran didn't write that ep, that's a plus.
Way to harsh on Blair sorry guys they have all made there mistakes, chuck has certainly made his and she has always been there for him if I remember correctly.
I think we all realize this is not real life but a tv show,but there is nothing wrong with both sides wanting to see the outcome the way the want it. Its like getting into a good book you want the outcome the way you want it.

I really hope they aren't planning on killing off one of the kids. They are (hopefully) going into their last season, so they have nothing to lose, at this point.
Something that 'forever alters the fabric of the show'...removing one of the core cast via death would definitely alter things a lot. Usually, something like that plays out by showing us how everyone else reacts to the death and/or how it spurs them to make changes in their own lives, after feeling their own mortality...
When i first seen the title I thought of Chuck getting a ring again but then I thought of it and Maybe its meant for Lily and Rufus The Return of the Ring ...
Maybe she will be giving him his ring back... Josh had his hand in this soo who knows what will happen not sure if he is up too getting blair and chuck back together since he loved Dair so much. Thinking we are going to have to wait.... but i hope not.

Seriously, I'm sorry but I haven't watched GG since that whole Dan/Blair thing. I mean, it's sweet and everything, but it's just weird almost. I mean, it's just a personal opinion. I don't know. :/

So really, it's beyond me why everyone is so concerned with Blair's happiness when Blair doesn't give a crap about anyone but herself. She doesn't even love Dan, she just loves that he loves her. That's not a healthy relationship, it's a completely one-sided one. I'd almost feel sorry for Dan if I didn't dislike him so much, but after how he's treated Serena (and the fact that he was stupid enough to go after Blair knowing she still loved Chuck), whatever, he deserves what he gets.
Basically, I just want Chuck to be happy, he's spent the entire season alone and miserable and trying to be a good person while everyone kicks him in the face, so... whatever accomplishes that.

Wow, people get a grip! This is tv not real life! This is supposed to be a tv show filled with drama and over-the-top nonsense, not a after-school special about relationships. If you're looking for an example of a good relationship you should probably try some looking for it in something other than a teen drama/soap opera about UES kids/turned young adults.

1) Goaded him into kissing her so she could slap him across the face and tell him he was a terrible persion
2) Crashed his therapy session (half of which was undoubtedly focused on getting over her) to get advice on how to fix her relationship with her fiancee
3) Told him she loved him and wanted to spend the rest of her life with him... then abandoned him in the hospital without a word, and was overtly hostile when he asked her for an explanation.
4) Asked him to wait for her for a *year* until she got out of her marriage... then kissed another guy in his own bedroom
5) Turned him away when he came asking her advice as a friend
6) Yelled at him for paying her dowry, which was basically him doing her a gigantic favor she didn't even deserve and cleaning up her own idiotic mess. But instead of thank you, she ripped his head off for no reason. Oh, but she did thank him with a text message. And no apology, of course, because she hasn't apologized for any of those things.

As for Dan, I don't know who he should end up with at the end of the series. Serena would be the obvious choice but I'd like the writers to "surprise" us with Serenate =)
I like Lola with Nate but someone earlier wrote she won't stay on the show so...

@ Michy: Chuck has made mistkas. Blair has made mistakes. Chuck's mistakes are obviously worst than Blair's. But I think it's obvious at this point that although there is darkness in him, at the bottom he can be a good person. He didn't have reasons to want to be a good person until Blair created those reasons. Now he has realized that he should try to be better and not even to only be Blair's life partner, but for himself, which the ultimate reason why any person should try to be better. In that path there are going to be setbacks and he has suffered from those too. That doesn't mean he's unable to achieve that goal. Every human being is flawed and some more than others. Blair is no saint, like some people want to pretend she is. At the end of the day, their bond is based on the mutual comprehension of the darkness they both have inside themselves and the need to overcome it and the wrongs have done to them.

Yeah, I'm still rooting for Blair to choose Chuck even if I can't stand Blair anymore. She's been acting like such a whiny, selfish child most of this season, it's beyond me why these guys are fighting over her at all. She even treats Dan like crap- which doesn't bother me that much because Dan is the worst, but if there were any justice on this show, she would wind up alone after how she's been behaving.
But yeah, the smart money says the engagement ring is coming back, Blair will finally realize that Chuck won't wait around for her forever, and this painfully boring/awkward/sexless DB relationship will mercifully come to its inevitable conclusion.

I hope Blair first breaks up with Dan, at the end of the season would be grea then stays a bit single for a change before going back to Chuck. In the meantime, I'd like to see Chuck with another girl before going back to Blair. Dair are really boring even though they are both intellectual. The sweet scenes between them are forced by the writers. They should have stayed friends. Chair has way more chemistry, it's truth. I know Chuck made a big mistake but I think it's time to forgive him. If there is true love between them, it will conquer everything!
I think there are more Chair fans than Dair fans so if the writers want to reward us, they should end the series with Chair but when they make that happen is not one of my worries ;)

oh right, being with a guy who respects and love you for the good things in you is boring. being almost hit and treated badly is exciting.
