AnnaSophia Robb as Carrie Bradshaw: First Look!
A few days after releasing the first promotional photo of Stephen Amell as The Green Arrow, The CW is giving viewers a look at another heavily hyped upcoming role/pilot: AnnaSophia Robb as Carrie Bradshaw in The Carrie Diaries.
She has the curly hair... the expensive shoes... the unique style. Does Robb come across as a teenage version of the character Carrie Bradshaw made famous on screen?
“When AnnaSophia Robb walked into the room, we knew we had found [Carrie],” writer/executive producer Amy B. Harris said in a statement. “Her grace, intelligence, sense of fun and her empathetic nature make her the perfect girl to bring our young Carrie to life. The fact that she loves a gorgeous pair of heels doesn’t hurt either."
If picked up, The Carrie Diaries will premiere in the fall and track Carrie on her journey through high school in the 1980s. Austin Butler has been cast on the project in the male lead.

She is a little too pretty to be carrie. Carrie was someone who had to grown into her looks and sense of fashion. There was a quirkiness to her look, someone not obviously pretty. why would she look like that?

I like AnnaSophia Robb. She's a great actress and I think she looks REALLY cute in the picture up there. :D

She looks cute but the 80s? Really? Who thinks that is a good idea? I wish people would just leave SATC alone. Haven't they destroyed the show enough?
