The Vampire Diaries Return Teaser: In 1912...

by at . Comments

The Vampire Diaries left viewers with a foiled witch plot, a revealing home video and a shocking shooting last night, as "All My Children" will have to hold fans over until the return of this CW sensation on March 15.

That's a long time to wait, but it appears as if the series will make such agony worthwhile.

When TVD returns next month, we'll be taken back to 1912 and we'll meet Sage (Cassidy Freeman), the woman who apparently taught Damon how to love. In other words: every other female in Mystic Falls owes her a big thank you.

What else will be revealed about this Salvatore brother? We'll find out in a few weeks. But you can get your first look at the upcoming return episode now:

This episode would not be great.

After last nights episode I don't see this going in a good direction! What will Sage be? the first turned one ? what will be her purpose? Really disappointed overall! with all the originals leaving after 3 episodes, just pulling the crap of so they can have an good season final!

Kitanishi-h-mcdonald

Oh...great...Sage, one of the most manipulative, awesome and mysterious originals in the books now is:
1) a female.
2) a generic vampire. Anyone wants to bet she will sleep with Damon or will be just as lame as Klaus has been? This show has such a hard time getting away from sexism and misogyny that its just...sad.

From the promo, it is remarkable how close that got Lindsey R. Garrett (Sara Gilbert) to look like Elena.

Vampire Diaries Quotes

You want a love that consumes you. You want passion and adventure, and even a little danger... I want you to get everything you're looking for. But for right now, I want you to forget that this happened. Can't have people knowing I'm in town yet. Goodnight, Elena.

Damon

Damon: You know what they are? Children. Like lighting a candle's going to make everything OK, or even saying a prayer. Or pretending Elena's not going to end up just like the rest of us murdering vampires. Stupid, delusional, exasperating little children. And I know what you're going to say: 'It makes them feel better, Damon.' So what? For how long? A minute, a day? What difference does it make? Because in the end, when you lose somebody, every candle, every prayer is not going to make up for the fact that the only thing you have left is hole in your life where that somebody that you cared about used to be. And a rock with a birthday carved into it that I'm pretty sure is wrong. So thanks, friend. Thanks for leaving me here to babysit. Because I should be long gone by now. I didn't get the girl, remember? I'm just stuck here fighting my brother and taking care of the kids. You owe me big.
Alaric: I miss you too, buddy.
