The Big Bang Theory Review: Call of the Wild Sheldon
Move over Matthew McConaughey, there's a new late-night bongo player in town and his name is Sheldon Cooper!
While "The Werewolf Transformation" wasn't the most hysterically funny episode of the season, it did explore some fun areas of our favorite geeks.
I knew when Sheldon attempted to blow one day’s extra hair growth out of his eyes, and more so when he attempted to get a comatose barber to cut his hair, that he was going to have the same reaction to missing his haircut schedule that he has when any of his normal routines are messed up: going absolutely bat-crap crazy.
Good to know I wasn't wrong either. But never let it be said that it’s not fun watching Sheldon slip into his own personal insanity. From the butt-dwelling purple leprechaun comment from Penny to Howard's confession about eating a butterfly, this week's outing featured some very memorable Big Bang Theory quotes.
Speaking of Howard, is anyone else over the running story of him going into space? This third string story linehas been lingering around so long I’m not even sure how long ago it got started. Could we go ahead and shoot Howard in to space and be done with it?
If I were a betting man (which I am), I would wager that Howard going into space will be part of this year’s season finale. The real question is this: Will Howard suddenly find a way to bring Sheldon, Raj and Leonard along on his trip to space like Sheldon did on his trip to the North Pole at the end of Season 2?
I guess we will just have to wait and see. So, anyone up for a game of Rock, Paper, Scissor, Lizard, Spock in the meantime? I'm certainly not going to challenge Penny to a game of chess. And, while it was fun to see how many past episode she referenced while convincing Sheldon to come home, I'm letting her cut my hair anytime soon. Sorry, Penny, my barber is just fine!

Leonard: Sometimes change is good. You were worried about Zachary Quinto being the new Spock, but you ended up liking him. Sheldon: Leonard, please, every ti...

Saw the rerun last night. Favorites line was Amy's: "There's not a hair on my body I wouldn't let this woman trim."

Drama Police/Crime shows. I am an avid watcher of NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, all the CSIs, Criminal Minds, Unforgettable, etc. Not only do they have great story lines but the atarcchers are so awesome. Who doesn't love Gibbs?!?!?

I have to say tho as much as i love sheldon, why is he always the main character - in nearly every episode now. I mean Raj is hardly doing nothing anymore - he needs a story.. Also as much as I love penny and leonard taking it slowly.. its reaaaally slow. So maybe less Sheldon screentime every now and then would be a good thing.
I love Amy - she wants to have sex with sheldon soo bad ;)

i loved sooooo much when Howard suddenly said: I ate a butterfly - and his face like he did something really really bad ;)

Please, for those who post the show's quotes, the names of the renowned physicist and chess champion are spelled Feynman and Fischer, respectively.

question: how does wilderness survival help in astronaut training? Can't see how learning to fend for yourself in the woods is gonna help in outer space

Amy's pseudo-sexual interest in Penny has to go.
