Sorry, but if it can't be Ziva then forget it, because this Wendy woman has zero appeal and no chemistry with DiNozzo. Their scenes together were so boring that I kept wondering when they'd be over and get back to the case. And her stupidity doesn't bode well for a professional relationship either. She's the one who wrote a report on the real estate sales in the crime-ridden areas but she couldn't see how that linked with the fact that the Real-life Superheroes were increasing property values by slashing the crime rate? Abby saw it in a couple of hours during which she also treated data, played dress-up and analyzed video files.Go back to school Wendy!

It was a change of pace but I still liked the show. No I don't care for Tony and Wendy together. She is a career woman who would put that above everything else, including Tony. I don't see him with Ziva as just like the interaction with Kate they are like brother and sister going at each other constantly and loving every moment of it. It's fun watching Ziva interacting with Tony and trying to get information she can use to torment him.
Looking forward to the coming weeks.

Please!! Wendy is not right for Tony. No chemistry there.
The kiss was so weird, very fake. Tony needs someone soft and sweet, who will appreciate his good qualities.
I think those qualities glowed when he was with Jeanne and I have always wanted her to show up with a child.
That was a true love, on both sides.
I agree with Shelley, Ncis has not had a good show this year. They need better writers. I have been so bored, I fall asleep while watching.

Wouldn't it be some twist if the kid was Tony's and Wendy had something incurable and was dying and that that was why she'd been wanting to get together with him?

I enjoyed last nights episode. Didn't think Wendy was awful but she certainly wasn't a favorite. I loved Gibbs in all his scenes. I also loved the Ducky/Tony moment. I also like that they are finally babystepping to Tiva.

it was good....i gave it 4 stars....HOWEVER, i don't like that wendy waited until the day before their wedding to break it off...and NEVER really gave him a reason, leaving him to think HE'D done something wrong....and WHO'S the FATHER of her son ?....his age says that she didn't seem to waste much time in hooking up with another man, after tony...or IS that tony's son?
as for TIVA: no way do i want tony with someone who sees NOTHING with beating up on her INJURED partner, and threating to KILL him....who also doesn't RESPECT him as her SFA.
tony & jeanne: HELL NO to that as well....she accused him of MURDER for god's sakes.
i'd like to see tony be the SMART AGENT that we all know he is....and show WHY gibbs HIRED him in the first place....and be shown the RESPECT he deserves from gibbs and the rest.
Wendy is a joke.
Tony can't commit because he has hidden issues, and it would take away from the show. The cat and mouse relationship he and Ziva have is great.
But come on, the show needs to kick it up some. It's lost it's way.
And let Ziva have some kick ass scenes again.
McGee looks better, but still looks like the walking dead.
And where is Palmer!
Please do not bring back Jeanne Bonit, she gave me the creeps!

Does anybody find it strange that Wendy has a child by? He is probably the age at which Wendy and Tony dissolved their romance. Why did she have to have a son 9 (nine) years old. What's the connection?

What have you done to the best show on TV? If the last 2 shows are indicative of what is to come, you have turned it into a maudlin piece of tripe. Sad, sad, sad!

A wife for Tony can open up another side to the story. For instance, Tony, sitting at his desk, opens up the lunch his wife packed for him (leftovers from the previous dinner) and a flashback from the previous night unfolds. His wife, a teacher, is used to planning in themes. In her dance class she learned to belly dance and the ladies were going home to test their new skills on their husbands. His wife decorates the bedroom ceiling like a sheik's tent using an old parachute and bobbles. She dances for him and feeds him native food fit for a sheik, etc. Back at NCIS, everyone sitting at his/her desk, is wondering why Tony is smiling so big. Unlike the old Tony, the new Tony never tattles about his special times at home with his wife. NCIS can have a new following of people looking for ideas to spice up their own lives. This should be done only in snippets so that the NCIS story line continues as is.

I thought keeping Tony single was the way to go, too. Although Tony needs to continue to be fun and happy, he also needs to be a serious agent. As he grows older, his being a womanizer will be unattractive . He will end up appearing like his lecher father. They have written into the script Tony's longing for a lasting relationship.

I thoroughly enjoyed Secrets, and thought it was one of the best shows of the season. I liked Wendy's character and wouldn't mind at all if for Tony, she was "the one" I loved Tony/McGee, Tony/Ducky, and we even got a Tony/Abby moment! All terrific scenes IMO. I even liked Ziva last night, as she was neither tragic, Mary Sueish, wonder woman, or cruel. I loved Gibbs bow to ICU at the end and even though I guessed the killer, I thought the superhero storyline was really fun. Kudos to writer Steve Binder for this enjoyable episode.

I agree with alot of you...I didn't care for Wendy at all. Do they have all new writers or what? This is a hit TV show and they are letting go down the tubes! I always thought Tony was very strong and smart, he just had a bad childhood and self-esteem issues and didn't realize how strong and smart he really was. I like Ziva, but she was always to snarky and had a chip on her shoulder about everything--glad they have lightened her up a bit. I agree though...Tony should not end up with Ziva OR Wendy! Do you remember the nurse he was with? Can't remember her name...(and I think she did a number on him)..but if he could find someone like her. Not a cop...strong and loved him...I think it would work!

if all of these leds to Tony and Ziva becoming a couple then the writer must really be out of ideas because they do not know what their fanbase wants or do they even care I mean really did they see what has happen to CSI when they did it.
I hope and pray that it does not happen, if Michael(the actor) does not want it and if its the reason CBS fire TBTP then I do not know why its being fored on them

I agree with Zia. No to Wendy. And no to Ziva. Ziva and Tony would have a combative relationship. Tony needs someone who can give him what he missed as a child. A loving uncomplicated relationship and children. Tony will have a chance to be a solid husband and father with her help. Perhaps a first grade teacher would be a good choice. No high powered women! Gibbs keeps making that mistake because he doesn't want anyone to compete with his memory of Shannon....an uncomplicated soft woman.

ITA Zia...the Tony/McGee relationship is really getting cool. I also loved this episode (except for Wendy...Tony was screwed up all those years for that?). I'm thinking and hoping we may FINALLY be getting both Tony and Gibbs to a point where they can move on with their lives without all the emotional baggage. Gibbs had a couple of REAL smiles, played Cupid, and admitted he was wrong (rule 51) about the superheros. Awesome!!

Maude said "we need to see what is up with "CI Ray" now that he is conveniently out of the country".
He is not out of the country but out of Ziva's life. A few episodes ago they wrote him out when he turned out to be that week's Big_Bad/Killer.

I liked this episode very much. I don't think Wendy is long term for Tony, however, she does need to show up again if Tony is going to deal with his past. Wendy was the cause, so that's what he needs to make peace with. I am Not a Tiva fan. I do not want to see Ziva and Tony together. I would much rather see Tony find someone outside the team. I love Ziva, but I don't think that she should get involved with Tony, that would make it very complicated at work.
I love how Tony and McGee's relationship has evolved over the years. Tony does not put him down nearly as much as he used to and gives McGee credit now and then. Big change. McGee actually understands Tony more and they seem to be friendly towards each other. I loved the car scene. Ducky hit Tony's problem right in the Morgue scene, he needs to deal with the past and not make the same mistakes Gibbs has made.

Did not care for this episode. To have to rewrite a characters history to make a story fit just seems wrong. We all know that Tony has issues with commitment and loosing a parent at a young age and having the other one not set a good example is enough of a reason to have this issue. There was no need for Wendy.
Each time a writer changes something about Tony they're making things worse. Tony was an interesting , caring, smart man but with all these "things" that have occurred with Tony since mid last season he is being protrayed as a sad screwed up person. That is not the Tony I watched before or want to see, now. Makes me wonder how he ever passed his psy eval to become a cop and later an NCIS agent.
I was very happy with the episode, and unlike most, I quite liked Wendy, too -- but then, I also liked C.J., so what do I know? Admittedly, I wouldn't want to see Tony end up with either of them, but that's a different matter.
I'm most impressed with how they've dealt with Tony's character throughout the course of the show. Years ago we were told (by Ducky) that Tony was a lot like a young Gibbs. This connection has been growing in wonderfully subtle ways.
When I first started watching NCIS, Tony was the one character I didn't like. He struck me as the "comedy relief," and it annoyed me because a crack team of investigators can't afford someone whose only talent is goofing off. But it only took a few episodes to realise that Tony was far more than that.
