Mandy Moore Signs on for ABC Pilot

ABC is in the market for Moore laughs.

The network has ordered a single camera sitcom pilot starring Mandy Moore as Annie, one half of a newly-married couple. She and her husband (Ben, uncast at the moment) will open a new restaurant in the former's hometown, leading to interaction and hijinks with Annie's high maintenance family.

Mostly a big screen star over the last few years, Moore has enjoyed a couple stints on hit shows such as How I Met Your Mother and Grey's Anatomy.
