Sorry to dissapoint you but after 4 and a half season of waiting of hoping i`m really over Chair. The writers created one stupid reason for another for these two not be together. It didn`t matter to me any more after a long row of stupid break ups. Chucks character is destroyed for me. Blame the writers not the audience..
And if the writers of The vampire diaries will do the same mistake they will also destroy Damon and Elena. It`s a big mistake to stretch a burgeoning love story to long just to keep the audience glamoring..

I think they did completely destroy the character of Blair. One of her most intersting dynamics as a character was that unlike the rest of the GG posse, she was not fickle.She was pretty sure of what she wanted and how she would get it and stayed true to it.Now, she's all over the place, going from loving chuck "OH SO MUCH" to loving dan two weeks later. I really don't care about Chair being endgame,I'd rather Chuck just find someone else and get his own story line instead of being Blair's heart broken little bitch. I think the show would get a whole lot more intersting if several episodes from now Dan (who is the most fickle character on the show)realizes how much he really loves Lola (or something) and leaves Blair all alone to grapple with the marriage he ruined for her and the Chuck that doesn't want her anymore, and hopefully that will become the endgame.

@lila Truffaut movies, seriously ??? It's very "Blair" of you ! But you've got a point it's like been introverted or extrovert. I never found french movies very appealing.

Well, i don`t have a problem with Dan&Blair. Must admit they really match together. After a long while with denying it because i`m a die-hard Chair fan, i`ll try to be as honest as i can. I think Chair are the relationsship the girls want on paper but for real the perfect man is Dan. Maybe he`s more boring and not so hot but you can be sure his company isn`t more important than you and you can lean on the fact that he cares about you and will always call you number one in live. Chuck is the affair everyone wants to have but real life seems complicated with him an i can`t imagine him with kids and other normal problems. So for me Blair and Dan should end up togehter.
But what the writers did to the character Chuck is stupid and when i put myself in Ed`s shoes i would kick their ass out of the window. This man was adorable, so please don`t turn him into a cryin puppie..awful

@pty Dan and Blair were both very judgmental in their own ways, they didn't really hate each other.
Well, when you have dumb storylines like the Louis/royal marriage/dowry crap, of course the Charlie/Ivy storyline is better.
@FCF Blair never stomped all over Chuck's love when she was with Nate.
@soosick They should all just drop the show and stop watching.

@Where's Waldorf If that's the writers' intentions, then it's a complete failure. This is a complete slap in the face to Chair shippers, even if they do get together. The writers basically trampled over Blair's 'I love you's, which is meaningless now. From now on, Blair's 'love' for Chuck is forever tainted no matter how much the Chair fans squeal at their 'epic endgame'.
@danplusserena The writers ruined them ever since they made the dumb plot twist of them being step siblings.
@ggous and @Master.mikmik Exactly, they should just drop the show and stop watching.
@Mila They've never hated each other, they've made snarky comments at each other and they've even helped Serena when she was in trouble.

@pty I agree with that. I find strange her relation with Jenny. Dan and Jenny have the same pedigree. Blair crowned Jenny and when the minions weren't ok with it. She said "her dad married Lily Van Der Woodsen that made her richer than you". Why have a different standard for Dan ? This is why I think her behavior with Dan was some kind of test. At the end of season 2, she said herself to Dan "you pretend not to be like us, but you are to the bone". Remember in the first episodes she didn't have a good opinion of Chuck Bass either.

@ junior: I never got the feeling Blair hated Dan, but I did always find she was snobish with him and everything any NYC area that wasn't the UES, which for some people could have been counted as borderline despise.
@ Master.mikmik: count me in as one of the fans that has watched this show practically from the beginning (since the last part of season 1 and the beginning of season 2, but at least I took the trouble of watching the first season, unlike some fans who started watching this show in season later seasons and haven't bothered to watch what happened before) and yet I'm going to continue watching this show despite the fact that I didn't support, don't support and won't support Dair. And in my opinion the best thing happening to this show right now are the Charlies, which is kinda sad and amazing considering nobody wanted that story at the beginning.

@chucks girl : true, it's normal to have like forever feelings for someone you've loved so much...maybe they could have deleted the "i love you more and more everyday" which makes no sense obviously here, and replace it by "iLL always have feelings for you", letting the door open for further drama, with a better timing.

Its not that I am opposed to Dair. They are cute. I just don't like how one week she's so in love with Chuck and then all of sudden she's head over heal for dan ( and married ). I just wish they brought something new for Chuck.

Ahhh I've come to the conclusion that Chair is like a blockbuster movie, some crazy hollywood spectacular sh*t, attracting the masses...Dair is more like a Francois Truffaut movie, not attainable by everybody, but the taste of it is so much better.

well, at least Nate is doing something in his life and so does Serena. in my opinion the most disappointing character is Blair. I've always loved her, but now I can't stand her. she's so moody, superficial..I mean, she always seems ready to fight for the one she loves..but unfortunately she changes man every time. She was ready to run away with Chuck, leaving Louis..and now we find out that she's hopelessly in love with Dan. ...really?. so much confusing! Love is treated like the favourite pastime and she spends days messing up her life and others and at the same time she's doing anything constructive. I'm a Chair fan..but I've come to a point that I don't care who Blair chooses.. but at least you, producers, make it sounds REAL. it is a real mess.
Serena: Congratulations, you've officially joined the dark side.
