Gossip Girl Canadian Promo: Dan vs. Chuck

by at . Comments

In the Canadian promo for Monday's Gossip Girl episode, "The Princess Dowry," the battle lines are clearly being drawn between Dan and Chuck. Suffice it to say, the latter isn't giving up without a fight.

Whether his efforts pay off remains an open question.

How far is Chuck willing to go to dispatch Humphrey as an obstacle to win back the girl of his dreams? Will Dan and Blair build off of what we saw play out in "Cross Rhodes" or be dealt a setback?

Take a look at the promo and see what you think:

@Meep or do you mean rock blair's world?

Avatar

@V It is my opinion, I never said it wasn't. A real bootlicker would be defending the show no matter what happens. @Meep You forgot Ivy's character suddenly did a 180 and now she kicked Lily/Rufus out of the house. The pre-nup and the Cece storylines went nowhere. Hurricane Georgina? Please, she was barely even a breeze, and of course she gave up being Gossip Girl, which also makes that reveal pointless. @Emily Yeah, especially in this whole episode, it felt like she was almost half-asleep walking through the whole thing.

Avatar

@Emily..yes that. Blair was supposed to be going on a powerful woman arc and instead she continued to let men rule her world. When Dan asked if she had decided to go off to a secluded island and life a blissful life or whatever...I so wished that was true. And I don't understand....so what did end up happening with the whole prenup thing..is she getting bankrupted or not...apparently the Vanderwoodsens are. Looks like everyone is ending up in Brooklyn...lol. Gossip Girl won't give a damn about these kids anymore..they are all brooklynites now..Oh and Chuck ...Jack Bass is your daddy!

I'm over Blair. This whole "which guy will she wind up with" and "everybody loves Blair" plot has been going on for two seasons with no real resolution, and to be honest, I'm just sick of her. Her character has become completely selfish- all she cares about is her "true love" of the moment, whomever she thinks it is. Serena's life is completely falling apart, and where is Blair? Oh, that's right, Blair is about to sleep with the guy that her best friend is in love with- right after her grandmother's wake, none the less... What a rotten person. I'm just totally over Blair and all of the Blair related "ships." She has no identity anymore, and that's a shame. It makes her character frustrating to watch. Sure, people have always hated on Serena for being self-obsessed, but has anyone watched what they've done to Blair in the past two seasons? If you ask me, she's even worse. She's not the character I once thought was amazing. She's kind of the worst right now.

@lila..he was nervous with Serena too but ready to hump Chivy at that party....oh Dan you so funny but your little man seems to be bi-polar

So, the prenup loop hole story was ridiculous, the cece story was ridiculous and now Dair are going to have problem sex....WHATEVER

Avatar

My point exactly. It is your opinion that people are making idle threats. It is also your opinion that Safran is too busy ruining the show to come here etc. Your opinion is simply your opinion and should not be imposed on anyone else. If people threaten to leave the show and actually leave or end up not leaving it is their fundamental human right to do so and express it! Ps a bootlicker can employ sarcasm by telling people to stop watching a show since they are (and i quote you) "just making idle threats that the writers don't even care about."

Avatar

@Anonymous as long as he is getting some blair's bird; I don't care if he is bad or good.

Avatar

@Cindy It's a Josh Schwartz show, and they seem to be taking Dan/Blair that route for the time being. So is their entire storyline in the next episode going to be them trying to have sex over and over again?

Avatar

@Cindy oh I have stories.
