Exclusive Gossip Girl Clip: Blair Stalks Dan, Bashes Lola

at . Comments

The CW and Warner Bros. have provided TV Fanatic an exclusive clip from Monday's all-new Gossip Girl, and it's a fun one. Blair shows up at Dan's theater production of Inside, where and meets a familiar face.

Familiar to us, at least.

The Upright Citizens Brigade, a comedy-based New York City improvisational theater group, is performing excerpts from Dan's book, which he's apparently overseeing. One of the actresses? None other than Lola.

That's the setting where B arrives, ostensibly to say hello to her "friend", but clearly with other motives. Fawning over him awkwardly, she's either smitten with Lonely Boy, looking to rub it in S' face, or both.

Moments later, she unknowingly meets the real Charlotte Rhodes, Julliard student and aspiring actress, and promptly bashes her hideous headband and wardrobe, only to learn that Lola is playing Claire in Inside.

Ouch, B. Watch the sneak peek from "Cross Rhodes" and comment below!

today and yesterday i rewatched some season 1 and 2 and after much consideration i cannot honestly ship dair. they are cute but. the writers have destroyed blair\serena for this relationship. blair has slept with chuck\nate and serena nate\dan. there should be a least one guy between them. if blair and dan hook up that is not okay. and after watching the seasons again I thought if serena and chuck hooked up it would be just wrong. chuck always cared about the blair\serena friendship. dan doesnt seem to care at all. I was thinking about this show and the bitch and the basstard. that interesting. and as much as we all want a new storyline. dan loving blair is boring. What kind of person wants someone so much at any cost . they are replacing blair with serena. people care because blair is so popular. I am done with DAIR...

is it Monday yet?! i actually don't care too much about 'endgame'. that could mean the last 5 minutes of the series finale there's a quick scene of Chuck/Blair getting together. ha! that's 'endgame'. the Chair story has no where to go. even fans admit this. they just want them to get together and have their happy ending b/c they're at the point where pacts w/ god are being used as obstacles. meaning there's very little story left to tell outside of getting married, having kids. with Dair it's a whole new ballgame. lots of drama, adventures, problems...etc. that can be explored. GG does have S6 left. whether that's a final 13 episodes or an entire season of 22-24 episodes is unknown. point being there's story left to churn out w/ Dair. how i wish Jenny would come back! the ultimate unplanned revenge for sleeping with Chuck: having a full blown relationship w/ her brother.

A more recent quote of writers say : there are no endgames !
Anything can happen...

Anonymous, just so you know, that's quite an old quote from Savage. Should be at least a year old now.

@chair There's a reason why she and Josh Schwartz left the show and Josh Safran incompetently took over. The writers ruined them and all of the other characters and now she's just trying to do damage control to try and appease the fans. "natural progression", lol.

Why is it that on the UES a guy and a girl can't be friends without wanting to rip each others clothes off? I think they should have left Dan and Blair as friends to prove that you don't have to be attracted to every guy who has a crush on you or who you're friends with

GO CHAIR QUOTE FROM SAVAGE ABOUT Chuck and Blair: Clearly the show's most popular couple, "Chair" fans were... less than thrilled when the gruesome twosome put their epic romance on hold and decided to just be friends for the time being. Savage explains the decision to take a break from their relationship: "Overall, I think that we felt like that was the natural evolution of Chuck and Blair's relationship and something that we wanted to see happen to the characters. I think it's frustrating fans who just want them to be together and be happy, but we have to save the finish line for the finish line." We think all Chuck and Blair fans should find major comfort in that last part, keywords: "finish line." finish line!!! yayyyyyyy

@ Anonymous : thank you !

Plus I'm not american can someone tell me what CPK is ? thanks!

@ Anon1 : absolutely can't agree more ! Remember Dan sayin in the very first episode : "Blair Waldorf who is basically everything I hate about the Upper East Side, distilled into 95-pound, doe-eyed, bon mot tossing, label whoring package of Girly evil !" LMAO, so much evolution since then !
Plus the tie thing is not the only binary thing that ties them... two times Dan intervened in Blair's wedding destiny : the 1st time in the 3rd season finale when he punches Chuck in the face while he was about to propose (the Harry Winston ring), and the second time he sends the video to GG that made Louis revealing his true nature after the wedding. DAIR all the way !
DAIR all the way !
