Who Will Die on NCIS: Los Angeles?!

Hope you're sitting down for this one.

The NCIS: Los Angeles Season 3 finale in May will feature the demise of someone we know well.

Seriously, “Someone’s gonna die that we know well,” executive producer Shane Brennan said.

Gulp. The rest of his quote to TV Line about the upcoming arc teased that, “I’ve got the target, I’m just choosing which missile to fire. And there’s a character or two coming back to tie some things up.”

Kensi and Deeks Pic

Which missile to fire? This sounds like no joke. The question is who it hits.

As we've seen on both NCIS and NCIS: LA, which dispatched one of its core cast members in the first season, the characters serve the overall show, not the other way around. Brennan really will go there.

It's unclear if the victim will be a core cast member in this case, though. Someone "we know well" leaves the door open for it to be a (somewhat) extraneous, ancillary character (Lauren Hunter for example).

Peter Cambor's Nate, who was initially a series regular but quasi-left the show to partake in covert ops, is another good possibility. Still, it makes you wonder if there's a surprise much bigger than that in store.

Perhaps the most devastating loss would be Linda Hunt's Hetty Lange, who's cheated death a few times already this season. We really, really hope it's not true, but it certainly would rock the team to its core.

In other NCIS: Los Angeles news, there is a major Kensi-centric double episode coming up titled “Blye, K.” That arc, Brennan says, goes to the very heart of why the character played by Daniela Ruah joined NCIS.

It also sets the stage for the NCIS: LA and Hawaii Five-O crossover during May sweeps. The show is looking for a late 40s actress to play the estranged mother of a female character ... gotta be Kensi, right?

I agree with you, I am a big fat loser. I am sorry for being stupid everyone.

You have too much time on your hands to comment on the people that post here! Loser comes to mind. Get a life and quit putting others down.

You people have too much time on your hands to worry what happens on a TV show!

vance and his family are vac. maybe his waves family lives in LA .Maybe his family dies?

If Sam dies, I'm done watching the show. Callen just isn't that interesting on his own and vice versa. They need each other.

ugh... realized my last comment got cut off. But Big Guess brought up what was missing. I so agree it could be just as you said. And we know NCIS isnt against killing off directors. One thing I didnt bring up and dont believe anyone else has... Who is in the car/ jeep that rolls over in the previews?

What if instead of NCIS-LA in particular they referring to the Whole NCIS Universe. That means it could refer to The director, which we know is missing. Another person could be Dr. Mallard which has spoke to Gibbs about being his being the executor of his will. They are both NCIS own. Just a possibility. It may be lame but it would really throw our guesses off.

To kill off any of the core team would damage the series in my opinion. The characters and partnerships are what make this show stand out from other similar shows in my opinion. I've read somewhere that Agent Renko is returning for this finale, so my guess is that he could be one of those who dies. If there is another, hopefully its an ancillary character that isnt part of the seven key team members (Deeks, Kensi, Sami, Callen, Eric, Nell and Hetty). Loving the show but if anything happens to these key people, I think it could do serious damage to its appeal. But I imagine the writers and producers already know this.

IT better not be Kensi or i will hate the show or deeks or Callen for that matter my bets are Sam Nell or Eric and it cant be hetty she in the finnal shot with the bodies

Im almost possitive that it is Sam and Nell because there body types hight wise match the people on the table this is gunna be a horrible episode and for ncis normal if anybody dies there other than vance i will never watch the show again
