It's truly hard trying to pick between the wit, charm, great writing and fabulous cast of Suits. Or the wonder, originality, and intrigue of Once Upon a Time. Or the pure delicousness that is Revenge. And hey...even though it needs a tweak or two, I'm quite fond of Person of Interest as well! Some tough competition in this category!.

ONCE UPON A TIME! It's like watching a mini-movie every week and it's a very fresh thing to television nowadays.

Game of Thrones and Homeland can duke it out. There is no other competition in my opinion. The tough thing is they're very different. When Game of Thrones was on and new, I thought it was bliss. Can't recall any shows where I'm eagerly anticipating the next season as bad as Game of Thrones. And now Homeland is an extremely captivating series and slick. I'll hold full judgement until the finale next week.

2 broke girls, hart of dixie, secret circle. Tried a couple eps of suburgarory, ringer but didnt fall in love. Tried a ep of new girl and hated it. Revenge and once upon a time are fairly good.

And what about "Hart of dixie"???!

I am somewhat impressed with the new television shows that began this fall. I am in love with Revenge and Once Upon A Time. I think both shows are doing a good job for the most part with story telling and plots. Each week I love increasing forward to when these shows come on. If I had to choose between the two...it would definately be Once Upon A Time...a sucker for a love story.

I voted for Game of Thrones for best new show.

The Lying Game should be Top 10. 2 Broke Girls shouldn't be Top 10 due to Max being flat, poor supporting characters, some flat storylines. New Girl I'd put in Worst Top 10. Once Upon isn't terrible but with Morrison's underacting/flat acting versus Parilla's overacting especially as the Evil Witch along with the crappy CGI it shouldn't be Top 10. Homeland bores me but I only saw 2 episodes. I haven't seen AHS or Awkward.

Well, Alex, I watch pretty much all of the shows, and watched the first few episodes of Hell on Wheels. Just didn't have the stomach for it. Found none of the characters even remotely engaging. Guess what - I also don't watch Breaking Bad or Sons of Anarchy, but can definitely agree with you on GoT, Homeland and Suits. So, what do you make of that?

I watch Once Upon A Time, Revenge, and The Secret Circle all of which I find are the three best new shows to hit network television. However, I find myself completely entranced by The Secret Circle. Not saying that I don't loooooove OUAT or Revenge and then there are other shows like New Girl, Suburgatory, Person of Interest, and others.

To choose the Best New TV Show of 2011, you actually have to take the time to watch every new show of 2011. Otherwise, you can only choose from what you're currently watching. So yeah, this Round Table discussion is kind of...eeeeh.

Alex, tell us how you really feel!

This roundtable is not a good read because it is so obvious that the participants have not seen all the shows. I watch Once Upon a Time and I enjoy the hell out of it, but whoever votes for it has not seen Game of Thrones or Homeland. What kind of reviewers are you? The true rankings should go like this:

The top three are definitely Game of Thrones, Homeland, Hell on Wheels and Suits in that order.

Omitting Hell on Wheels from your poll is a disservice to television as we know it.
