Dan was nice about Chuck and Blair, sure (although I think it was more realizing that she loved Chuck more than she'd ever love him, as opposed to some huge act of selflessness on his part), but he was a total jerk to Serena. Just really callous about her feelings for the entire episode.
So yeah, I can actually still dislike Dan.

yes i def recognized that Nates limodriver was confused as to where he was going.... i saw a lot of forshadowing for dair too..but i really hope dan realizes he loves her as a friend cuz they have a great FRIENDSHIP.but as a couple, no, i could never picture them hooking up or having the heat and passion like chair but they are cute as best friends and hes good for her in that way..other note: i hate how much the word "love" is being thrown around..serena and dan as a couple= they were in love, chuck and blair= dont even have to say it but TRUE LOVE...everything else is a crush, really, dan loves blair? come on..he can have feelings but not love..its riduclous..but ya i just want chair, after everything they and the fans have been though, get their happy ending...cuz enough is enough... now lastly... DID ANYONE EVEN BOTH ASKING IF THEIR LIMO DRIVER SURVIVED?!

Serena is by far the most annoying character on this show. I really hope Ivy doesn't come back because I did not like her- at all (nor was I a fan of her annoying ex, Max). Diana is also annoying and looks like a robust man. Blair and Chuck did a great job but I really disliked the entire limo scene. Dan needs a haircut.

This episode was AMAZING! Chuck and Blair were incredible, Serena was so bittersweet, Dan was finally selfless, Ivy was shocking! Nate was awesome! EVERYTHING WAS GREAT. STAY LIKE THIS, GG, AND DON'T YOU DARE KILL CHUCK.
Three things Gossip Girl has already done in previous seasons to insert tension into a lacking season:
1) Car crash with a major character.
2) Hint that Chuck may have bit the dust.
3) Baby storyline for one of the characters.
Sound familiar? Super lame.

Diana Payne is somehow related or affiliated with Chuck Bass?
So we got confirmation of Uncle Jack Bass being affiliated with Diana Payne. Definitely some semblance of family concern for the well-being of Chuck Bass. Were Jack and Diana responsible for the accident. They maybe devoid of sexual morales but they do care for their family; in their own way. Therefore, it is predictable that the plot is elsewhere.
Rating Predictability Score: 10/10
Serena was going to sabotage every attempt for Dan's happiness?
Serena being insecure with the men in her life? Pretty predictable and from the sneak peek it was obvious of her motives to siding with Louis.

Blair losing the baby?
Pretty obvious from the result of Blair in her early twenties getting a baby.

chair and melodramatic shit for the umpteenth time. dan and blair's simple yet witty dialogue trumps chuck and blair's cringe-worhty soapfest. dan and blair's SL is 1000000000x more interesting than chuck and blair's over the top SLs together which have been done over and over and over. seriously, how many times does chuck bass always have to almost die? we all know he won't. is he a cat with nine lives? or maybe he has horcruxes scattered all over manhattan!

This is slightly off topic, but I really don't want Derena to get back together at least not in this season. To me that would totally undermine the way Dan has been feeling about Blair for almost a year now. I know there are plenty of Derena fans out there, but in my opinion it needs to happen organically and Serena needs to learn how to be less selfish - she is often incredibly selfish - it's always been suggested that the character who has the longest journey to take is Chuck, but I think Serena has some growing to do as well before she is ready for serious long-term relationship.

I just read on Perez Hilton today that Ed Westwick confirmed that Chuck will be present at Blair's wedding... suggesting that he'll be fine.

Am I the ONLY one who noticed that Nate's limo driver thought he was supposed to be taking him to the UES? Which means Blair & Chuck were supposed to be in that limo & Nate was supposed to be in the one that got into the accident. I think Tripp set up a crash for that limo & Nate was supposed to get in it. Why else would it be shown that the limo driver said "Westchester? I thought you were going to the UES." Pay attention people.
CAN YOU GUYS PLEASE INVOLVE A QUESTION ABOUT WHO DIANA IS TO CHUCK IN THE ROUND TABLE TOMORROW :)?! I dont know why no one has mentioned it yet, especially now with jack bass calling her after chuck got in an accident! there has to be a really important connection!

Okay, I'm really happy with this episode. I'm glad Dan came out of it being a good guy, but NOT being with blair. Dan/Blair is so so wrong and would never realistically happen. I mean come on. Also, I'm so glad Blair and Chuck FINALLY got together and Blair decided to leave Louis. (I hope the 100th episode is his last. I'm so sick of that guy.) I think we all know that Chuck will survive. Who would actually watch the show without him?? Blake Lively, Chace Crawford, and Penn Badgley are great actors (ha maybe that's not true but at least they're good looking!) but Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick are the heart of the show. Without Chuck, there's no point of watching the show. So he will live, or the show will die. I also wonder why Lily didn't mention a miscarriage...will she miscarriage some other way?? The pregnancy was a stupid storyline b/c we all knew it would end this way. But I thought it would be cleaner, with Chuck and Blair unscathed and only a miscarriage. So I was surprised

If this episode did anything it brought our core group back together. I can't wait until there is more of the dynamic foursome, plus LonelyBoy. Chuck clearly won't die, but what will happen with him and Blair it is hard to say. I'm glad Dan realized Blair loves Chuck. I'm also glad Serena realized Dan doesn't love her and her fairytale ending isn't with Dan. I'll hold out hope for a Nate and Serena reunion!

I really liked the episode but it was a little slow, and not to much OMG (only the end) It needed a little more and a bigger clue for the final episode of 2011 when they showed up Diana I was actually watching Elizabeth Hurley's Wiki-page to see if she comes back but if at the end she is Chucks real mom It well be so disappointing because of the drama of season 3 and I honestly taught that that women from season 3 was actually Chucks mom when she left. The season so far has been so slow even though they had give us allot of stuff but as for Gossip Girl as a character I feel like she can do so much. Gossip Girl as a character has been MIA from so long not like in season 1-2 that she did that Gossip Bombs

STOP TORTURING CHAIR!!! obviously we all knew this would happen but i did not think it would happen like THAT. my heart actually broke seeing blair in the church in that promo saying "let him live". i'm glad she doesnt seem mad at him at this point. i dont even know how to vote for this one im so confused!! CHUCK CAN'T DIE!!
and dan, you are officially a cutie. i am a chair fan and i love you!
and um.. did she actually lose the baby? they say she's stable don't they? we don't actually know she lost the baby, i think lily would mention something like that to them if it happened. i know she's caught up in chuck but correct me if i'm wrong?
and i have to say, chuck and dan both really stepped up tonight. but those chair scenes were just so beautiful. they made me fall for chair all over again :) cant wait for next year!!!
