It was a very good episode but pushed the limits of believability just a bit - the "sneaking" in and out of N. Korea w/no repercussions. Really??
Did anyone else hear Chin say to Malia he "was righting a wrong" when he placed the ring on her finger?? I really like when Chin and Kono work together - they're an awesome duo. I sort of felt sorry for Jenna but when she sold Steve out (Steve of all people - he trusted her!) because WoFat make her believe her finance was still alive - my feeling for her changed. Her misplaced loyalties got her killed and rightly so at the end (even though she tried to redeem herself by giving him the "key" - which was a gross scene). All the characters were right on last night - excellent - Danny's concern for Steve, Steve's relief when Danny found him. Joe, Jimmy Buffet (margarita anyone?), Chin and Kono (as always), and the Navy Seals.
All except Lori. What was she doing there?? This was a core4 scene - she didn't belong. After last week's ep

I loved the episode. Although it was more brutal than I expected. I think shutting the door, when they first take Steve, and just HEARING it was worse.
Loved Danny's comment to Jimmy, loved Jimmy. ALWAYS love Jimmy.
About Chin; in all fairness...remember when we first saw Chin's ex. They both made some comment about him pushing her away. She kept that ring around her neck.
She never stopped loving him. Who could?
I'm happy they are engaged again. Just hope nothing happens to her. I like her, and I really couldn't stand Chin's grief! He's a cutie pie of the First Degree!
I thought that episode, like the pilot ep., was movie quality. The best this season, IMHO.

H50.. I agree there is something very wrong with the writers. I wont stop watching because of it but I get why some may. Very very few like her and they would be wise to end her run as quickly as possible.

What the hell is wrong with the writers? If Kono is on for less than 5 minutes again in the next episode and Lori is given more screen time as a sad attempt to make us like her more then I'm done watching this show.

I dont watch H50 for a reality check, I watch H50 to be entertained for an hour like no other show can,.... And I was!!!!! Who cares if sometimes things are far fetched, most things on TV are. H50 has become my favorite escape and quickly became my absolute favorite show ever!!

Thank you Nick. I also have watched all the episodes, most numerous times. This is entertainment, Hollywood, NOT REALITY. Everything in every show is not reality based. It's there for entertainment. Stop with the factual stuff and enjoy the show. It's great enterainment, if you can't stand it then why do you watch TV at all. You can say the same thing about every single show, including the horrible so-called reality shows. Why not watch them and leave the real entertainment shows alone.

The show is starting to get a little far fetched. HOw would anybody fly in & out of North Korea and not get noticed. And to pull off what they supposidly did without any milatary coming after them, come on!!! Stay in Hawaii and solve somewhat believable stuff.
---------------
Have you watched this series from the very first episode, season 1? Did you see how this team was put together and for what reason? This is not your run-of-the mill cop team that are doing what beat cops do. Every single of the 4 main Five 0 team members had major baggage when they were assembled, with Steve McGarrett having a personal vendetta against Wo Fat(the man who had McGarrett's father killed while being investigated by him). In fact, Five 0 was assembled by a crooked governor (to closely follow McGarrett's investigation of Wo Fat himself) that had ties to Wo Fat. In the very first episode season 1, first scene in fact, Steve was captured in North Korea while inves

The plot was very unrealistic. I still don't like Lori. I don't think I could get back with an ex lover. The past is the past.
@Jim pretty sure in first season it was revealed that Chin pushed her away not the other way around. I'll leave it to others to point it the exact episode.
I'm certain that Grace Park requested time out because frankly anything else would suggest this production team is intentionally sabotaging their own show.
North Korea plot was absurd for anyone who knows anything about that region but as stated elsewhere on this board, H5O is no The Wire. Nor does it pretend to be so yes I suspend my disbelief on that one.
Lori hugging Steve. Why Peter Lenkov? To show us she has a softer side? Perhaps if the actress was not so heavily botoxed she could crack an expression now and again. I dont even know if cosmetic work can be blamed for that mess, afterall Mary Louise Parker from Weeds has also had obvious work done but still manages to scrounge up some expression. The Lori situation is just tragic for all concerned: the casting director, writers, showrunner and the actress herself. I'l

For the Chin/Melia thing, i could be wrong but HE dumped her, we learned it on the episode 1-14. he did it and it was easier for her that everyone thought otherwise.

I forgot to put in my previous post that Alex o loughlin absolutely rocks!!! He impresses me more and more every single episode. Give this man an emmy pronto!!!! He is amazing! When he screamed at Wo Fat that he was dead it was an incredible scene!!!!
Mcgarret was a seal, they deal with pain differently then we would. Just because he acted fine in the helicopter does not mean he was not in pain. He was trained to be strong.

Jim.....Kono was unaware of the fact that chin ended the relationship. That is why she confronted her. Chin was the one who broke up the relationship to protect her. It is in the epi where chin runs into Melia at the hospital near the elevator. They discuss that chin ended it abruptly.

For Symph2001,
Where was Kono the last 15 minutes?
The helicopter was flying back to Buffett's compound where Kono was.. remember she was ground support.
How did all of Five-0 disappear for a couple of days and no one noticed?
Took time off/weekend... -- thin I know, but plausable.
Lori.... seriously, if someone gave me the chance to shoot an RPG there would defiantly be a few Squeeeesss of delight. She didn't even crack a smile.
AGREED! -- more squee!
Glad to finally see Jenna offed for the simple reason that she annoyed me. Did she really think Wo Fat was going to give her anything to be happy about in the end.
Again, Agreed...
And the bromance continues. How could anyone not love the look on Steve's face when Danny lifted the tarp? :)
Even better was the look on Danny's face when he said "You can thank me back in O'hua" in the helicopter.
And the older Seals are almost as hawt as the young Seals.
David Keith is aging very well.. as I said, my budding man

For those concerned about my opening.
To the best of my knowledge, Melia dumped Chin Ho when he got kicked off the police force.
Kono and Melia spoke about when Melia went to see Kono (during her "out of the department" phase) and Kono confronted her about having dumped Chin Ho when he got kicked off the force.. Melia said "she made a mistake"
That being said, I'm willing to be wrong and if someone can give me details of that I will gladly revise my standing on the situation.

How could anyone think Jim did a "super review"? Did he write that himself under a different name. He started off with the wrong information and doesn't even have the decency to correct it. This is the internet - he could write a correction in 5 seconds and maybe even add a little to his review; it was too short, like he wrote it just to get his paycheck. This was a sloppy review; H5O has not been on so long that Jim could not take a few extra seconds and research that was he was writing about was correct.
That being said, the epp was great but I hope Lori leaves soon too. Did anyone notice Danno wiping away a tear? He is such a great friend - love him and the TRUE H50 TEAM!!! Also thought it was so classy for the Seals to look out for their own the way they did - LOVE OUR MILITARY!!!

I loved this one! I liked that they were actually able to work as a precision team and kick some butt. I noticed that the guys made sure the gals were out of the line of fire. Kono is a geek (granted on that can seriously hurt you) and was the better girl for the tactical recon. JB is my fave but I was glad they didn't have him in margaritaville which would have been wrong for the episode. As long as the romances/spouses stay in the background it is all good. The show is about the team not their lives (happier that Dano's ex is done taking up full shows)

This one will be hard to watch often, because of the torture scenes and that shocking death of Jenna! Oh, my! But Jimmy Buffett? Tangerine? Let's bring them back for more eps., please!

And the bromance lives on! Danny was apprehensive from the get go about Steve taking off with Jenna for NK. His fear was palpable when he couldn't raise Steve on the sat. phone. But his sadness over Jenna's death was heartfelt. She had saved his life with the sarin poisoning, they had worked side by side, sharing good times and getting Steve exhonerated for the Gov's murder. Not sure I will ever be ready to like Lori. The actress moves from show to show being Agent Thisorthat. And seriously? That RPG would have blown her skinny butt out the other side of the chopper. She feels pasted into H50 and I still want Steve to wind up with that brunette on the naval ship.
