90210 Review: Lose Yourself

by at . Comments

They say running away never solves anything, but "Project Runaway" may have proved that old adage wrong.

Annie ran into Jeremy and managed to reach an agreement with him over the battle for Marla's inheritance. Or so she thought. Finding out that her having sold the necklace that Marla had given her would make her look like a gold digger, Annie attempted to get it back from the jeweler. But, apparently, someone had beat her to it. And had fed the jeweler the same line about it belonging to their dear old Grandma. That dastardly Jeremy! Or was it?

I think it was Liam. Annie may have brushed him off earlier but he's on a tear to be a good friend lately so who knows?

A Hairy Mess

Liam also came to the rescue of Naomi in that debacle of a CU fashion show. Holly may have one-uped Naomi by signing Liam as her model (not to mention stealing Naomi's entire line) but the way Liam thugged down the runway was priceless.

Can we just talk about how quickly the fashion show came together? It takes Project Runway a full season to get its act together. It took Naomi and company about seven minutes. And that's not just in TV time. I seriously think creating the costumes, planning the venue and glamorizing the guests took about as much time as it takes Tim Gunn to strap on those noose neckties of his.

And, of course, it was fabulous! Well, at least, Naomi was. The girl never fails to wow me with her costumes. And she definitely killed it with that white-Afroed, silver-shredded, belly-baring ensemble. She looked about 10 feet tall and worked that runway like a ho working the midnight stroll. Get it, girl!

Get it she did. She got the internship at Holly's mom's event planning company. The hottest Hollywood event planning company in existence to boot. Just when I thought Naomi and Holly had managed to set aside their differences and improve their relationship, something wicked this way comes. And her name is Mama.

Dixon managed to get the drug monkey off his back and actually produced a decent track. Thanks to Adrianna, of course, who provided the inspiration (and backing vocals) for that song he wowed the crowd with at the backstage party. For once, he didn't get on my last nerve. Wanna download all the 90210 music from this episode? You know where to go!

Navid flipped out when he learned Silver was moving on and dating again. Enough to put a halt to his 21 Jump Street ways. Confronting Cat about not wanting to do the undercover thing anymore, all I saw in that was a reason to hook those two up.

The best, however, was finally bidding adieu to Teddy. Running off to his happily ever after with Shane and finally finding himself was a perfect way to prove that wherever you go, there you are. And even though it was bittersweet, Teddy turned out to be the only one in the gang able to let go of the past and lose himself.

Poor baby! It is very scary. There seems to be some serious germs tolafing around right now. I seem to recall Emma's doctor saying that they couldnt really test/determine if a child had asthma until they were 5.

Poor ivy.man dixon and ade are pretty cute...But I have to agree with all those other posters about how liam and naomi stole the show.Their two minute scene had more ust and chemstry then I was prepared for. Those two sizzle onscreen.

Silver is like the 90210 boy's bicycle. Nearly all except one have taken a ride on it (Liam). And that includes a gay guy! Teddy's gay storyline was so random. He went from being all straight and womanizing to being in love with Silver to team dude! If you're going to do a gay storyline you have to make the character gay from the beginning, or struggling with it. You can't just introduce it like a normal storyline! Teddy's looks made up for that part of the storyline, so I didn't care. And the speed of Teddy and Shane (is that his name)'s sped up relationship was also lacking, but their looks COMBINED made up for it. Goodbye Teddy, at least you can say you rode off in the sunset with your lover rather than be killed off! (Liam... cough... cough). Ugh Navid. I was hoping for a hat trick with him not there. He should get with the cop! Ivy's marriage collapsing. I find it really sad, I hope she finds happiness with the photographer guy (loved Naomi's line about the jungle thing). I just hate that 90210 started introducing him when Raj and Ivy were still together. It was a little harsh.

The Fashion show was awesome, but I still do not get, why Holly would steal Naoimi's fashion ideas? I thought Holly thought Naomi sucked? Anyway, Naomi on the Catwalk: AMAZING. Liam on the Catwalk: even more amazing.
I actually did not see a spark between Naomi and Liam. I really wanted to see one, but there just wasn't. But Liam and Naomi just HAVE to get back together. I know, they have nothing in common, but nor do liam and annie.
Navid is getting more and more boring. Why does he have to be the Loser in this show?
I hate the Dixon Adriana Couple, bring in some new guys please? Next couple will have to be Dixon and Naomi or what? Than he's had every girl, and Adriana can take Liam, than we tried every possible constellation.
Annie's Storyline is just sad. Give Annie a break, writers! She always has a problem.
I am not gonna miss Teddy, especially not his friendship with Silver. I cannot understand how she can be so close with him. They were dating, and he was gay the whole time. I would feel weird about that fact, if I was her.
Anyway, i loved this episode. The last one was boring. This one was really good. Looking forward to the naughty next episode. Oh and I just wanna say: I miss Ethan! BRING HIM BACK!

Unlike most of you, I didn't really feel any heat or spark between Liam and Naomi. To me, they just seemed like friends.

I'm really going to miss Teddy. I think his story arcs regarding his sexuality have been some of the best that the show has ever done. And I'll really miss his friendship with Silver. You don't really see strong bonds like that in the show so that will definitely be missed. Aside from the Teddy arc, the only thing that really interested me was that scene between Annie and Liam. I hope they get back together again. As for Naomi and Holly, I thought we were finally going to be relieved of all the petty fights but it seems like things are only going to get worse. Pretty good spin on it though. And it's good to see Naomi realizing what she's really good at. I guess all those parties this season were actually done for a reason!
