the best part of the original 2.5 men was the fact that charlie sheen's private life was indistinguishable from his on-set life. i think sheen fervently believed in his t.v. character's belief system!

Charlie is "winning" on this one. I feel sorry for the rest of the cast because Kutcher is going to take them down in flames. How long is this guy going to act like the teenager from his '70s show character? Or Punked? Ashton, it's time to act like a big boy! You're too old to pull this off!

I was excited for the new Two and a Half men to start only to be disappointed. Don't get me wrong I think Sheen should of been canned for his behavior. Making all that money and acting like a jerk. He was unstable. So I was looking forward to the new show with Ashton I am a big fan of his but have to admit I was very disappointed in both episodes. I find Waldon to be way to immature and acts way too stupid I thought that was supposed to be Allens part? It won't work with both of them being immature and stupid. You should of stuck to the same theme womanizer/ drinker etc.... you know the one that drove Allen crazy? You could of even made him Roses new target for stalking. either way I will keep watching for awhile and see if things improve if not you have lost a viewer.

Really guys? Don't judge a book by it's cover. For example, You open up this book, read a few pages, then decide you don't want to read it? Some of my favorite books I hated at first. You need to give ashton a chance. And just becuase he doesnt have the same humor as charlie doesnt mean he isnt funny. You guys aren't even giving it a chance. Most of you decided you weren't going to like it the second you tuned in to the first episode. People saying "bring charlie back" need to grow up. he was funny but he had issues and his issues were starting to effect the show. stop being immature little kids and grow up?

unbelievably poorly done! I love Ashton and had hoped for the best but there is no way that this show will continue on this path. Charlie was a leader, as mentioned, we don't need 2 Allens. Charlie Sheen carried the show, with him gone, it will crumble!

The second episode was worse than the first. If that is even possible. We loved Two and a Half Men (well, until the kid wasn't cute anymore) But the change to Ashton is not the right fit. They would have been better off with just Jon Cryer and Berta. Then again, maybe not. This show should have died quietly and with dignity. Now it just looks like a few people trying to keep adding to their pockets. Especially the washed up Kutcher. Did you see his trailer? And what was up with all the nudity? And then this week, the whole bath towel below the waist. What is he trying to prove. The show is about as lost as LOST.

That was the last time I watched that show. (The new one that is). I kind of feel bad for the old crew cause they brought me so many laughs in the past and I feel like I'm letting them down. I just HAVE to let them go. Sorry this new show is just...awful, embarassing and juvenile. Poor Cryer, I can almost feel is discomfort from the other side of the screen.

Please bring Charlie back or just cancel the show. Let Charlie appliance for his bad behavior and get back to a good show. Charlie at his worst is better than this trash. Alan is not as good without Charlie and neither is bert a or the rest of the cast. BAD. BAD BAD!!!!

I like Aston, the guy is a good character but HE IS NOT FIT for the show. The show has already a set plot and Aston cannot play it accordingly. I watched the 1st and 2nd episode and i am not impressed at all. The old two and half men was genuine in his humor (not forced like now), the jokes were evenly distributed among the characters and each one of their personalities complemented the plot overall. The season instead has brought nothing new...the writing is poor, the jokes are just getting worse and worse. I mean " the toilet paper that makes my tooshy feel...cloud." really? the old two and a half had a good witty sense of humor ( although sometimes it was pretty intense as well) this new is just nothing more than a desperate attempt. John Cryer should be getting paid 1 million dollars per episode because he is doing all the footwork, while Aston parades naked.

With the way things are going, just as others have said, change the name of the show at least. How about Two and a Half Allens? Because that's what we have.

I agree with the majority here. Alan did have some good lines, and the interaction between Alan and his mom was pretty good as well. Umbrella! But we only need one Alan, not two, and the way they have set up Ashton's character (what was that name again, Walden?) I don't see how they will plausibly morph him to something else. And everyone else is off, and I see some more cheap shots were made, like with the girl who came looking for Charlie, but luckily a lot less than last episode. Ultimately, this was Charlie's show, and I don't think we will get there with Ashton. Perhaps they can figure out a way to bring Charlie back (closed coffin, and Rose involved solves that), but as Charlie used to say, I think that ship has sailed. It is now becoming obvious that perhaps Charlie Sheen was right, he made gold out of tin cans (Lorre's scripts). I think to bring Charlie back at the right time could really revitalize the show...and be another ratings bonanza. Look what his death did...

Pathetic. All those writers and that's the best they can come up with? Gave it a second chance last night hoping it would get better and it was actually worse. Turned it off after 10 minutes.

This episode was just loaded with great stuff every two minutes ..... for homos.
For everyone else, it was some of the worst television in years. Gone from my DVR, too. And I wish the show's staff would just stop with the obvious shilling. Crap is crap, and it's obvious.

WOW! What a waste! Why did you make Walden so unbelievable? He plays an idiot and we're supposed to believe he is a billionaire? The script is terrible; what has happened to the writing? Jon Cryer is the only character that has good lines and is believable (he should be making a million dollars per show. Why is Jake not more involved? This show will certainly fail as it is such a waste of time, not at all like it was before. You don't have to bring Charlie Sheen back, just make his character like Charlie's character and make the script funny again.

Well, I tried. This show is now absolutely horrible. Should have just changed the name of the show to something else. I mean c'mon - Judy Greer? Run out of actresses that would be on this trash so resorted to recycling? Won't watch again and deleted the DVR timer for this. I guess thanks for giving me back 20 minutes of my day.

After 2 showings, maybe they should have just ended the show when Charlie left. It's better to end on a positive note than to try to do something the producer is not yet able to do. It was 22 minutes into the show before I had my first laugh. Bring Charlie back or let the series come to an end.
Walden: Hey, what are you doing..? Alan: Just going down memory lane. This is a photo book Lyndsey gave me, oh look, here we are at the Santa Monica pier, "O...
