There must be a shortage of actresses in LA. Why was Herbs' sister (Judith's Husband) used as Walden's ex-wife? Now as a totally new character. Charlie already did her on a few past shows were she was a married teacher back in Ohio. Throws the show off. No impressed.

  2. Michael

Why is everyone hating on Ashton? He is WAAAAAAY better than charlie. Charlie is just a drunk old fart.

  3. fuck

you people are so fucking simpleminded you don't care about the show just complaining about it bunch of fucking losers the shows funny and you people just want charlie but charlie screwd charlie

Mixed reviews... rather than being a character development show its more of a no-plot show. The series runs on the main protagonist to win viewers.

  5. karen

I want Charlie back it isn't the same

  6. James

    I hate Charlie Sheen.
The show is actually watchable now!

  7. Tom

The show is soooo bad now!

  8. Rene

Please end the misery now!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't beat a dead horse.
The new two and a half men truly sucks. I don't want to see Ashton parade around half naked just to get attention. Yes that worked for Demi Moore but
    shes an old lady.

    Charlie Winner
    Show Loser - Sorry
PLEASE PULL THE PLUG - GIVE ROSE HER OWN SHOW, ANYTHING ELSE WOULD BE BETTER TV

Ashton's character is a loser !!!!!! I will not be watching Two and a Half Men.
Missing Charlie Sheen and his character BIG TIME !!!!!!!!!!

This show will not make it. Ashton's charactor is not a leading role. He is immature and makes Jon Cryor look like the leading man. The original show had run it's course. Time to pull the plug Mr. Lorre. No one can replace Charlie Sheene.

Jon Cryer may make me stay with this shell of a show, but Ashton better take a back seat. I like smart guys, and funny is a bonus. Tall, immature hunk can only go so far. I want this show to work, but I am still not sure.
I agree with the writer that the Berta voiceover was a REALLY BIG PROBLEM. she could have just whispered or done an aside.I did laugh like mad once when Alan was in the car and was frantic to find the toilet paper. Ashton's x-wife seemed more like a mom and not in a good way. P. S. Drop the "zippy" nickname; it is very old.How are these writers sooo off base in their choices??!!

There were a couple of mistakes in this article:

    1. Bridget is Walden's ex-wife, not ex-girlfriend.

    2. This sentence: "There will never be perfect dynamic between the Harper
    brothers." They are not brothers.

It’s like we are watching two different shows. Alan’s character feels different and less funny. I miss the friendly sarcasm between him and Charlie which was necessary to their relationship and always got a laugh. Ashton Kutcher’s character will have to change considerably to make him interesting and exciting in the show. The nudity is no substitute for acting and genuine laughs with clever writing.

It also looks like Alan could have to choose between sexual identities with all the nudity and inuendo in some scenes with he and Kutcher.

On the whole, the show was lackluster, disappointing and not really funny. I’m wondering where Rose is going to fit in (one of my favorite characters)?

The show gets a thumbs down at this point although I’ll continue to watch for awhile to see if it gets a lot better. Without Charlie Sheen, the show crumbles.

OH MY GOD!!!- what happened to Two an A Half Men? Where did the funny clever writers go? Did they all get fired like Charlie? Oh they're still there HAHAHAHAHA. I think they should bring back Teddy, the moms boyfriend, and kick out Ashton Kutcher.I also don't think all the nude scenes are funny, who really cares.

  17. Tony

    OMG...it was painful to watch

  18. Sharon

I have watched both episodes wanting the introduction of Ashton to work, but sadly it doesn't. I specifically don't like Asbton walking around undressed. Why? And why are he and Alan found together in questionabke situations? What is that about? Then Bertha changing into a dirty old lady -- huh? I found that disturbing, not funny. I too agree that Ashton seems to be playing his character from That 70's Show, but this is Two and a Half Men.

I remember when Charlie was introduced as a replacement for Michael J. Fox on Spin City and in my opinion it worked right from the beginning. Sadly while I continue to root for Ashton, I don't think he was the right choice as a replacement for Charlie.

Having said all this, Charlie not Ashton is responsible for the demise of the show. Charlie became to self-important and asked to be fired.

  19. carl lazar

The show has lost its luster, you will never replace Charlie Sheens character. I hope that the original cast saved their money because it is over.

  20. Laura

Besides the regular complaints that the show is slowly losing its charm and humour... i was also very dissappointed to see that Judy Greer was brought back as a different character. She played Herb's sister in law a few seasons ago. I usually dont notice things like this, and found it to be a glaring issue. They could have done so much with bringing back an old girlfriend of charlies to be waldons girlfriend, rather than just giving a different name to a very well liked actress who will be noticed.

  21. Brian

Guess what 2 1/2 Men fans, you just got Punk'd!

  22. peter

A true 2.5 men fan would know that in fact, there have been numerous scenes through the first 8 seasons where not only Berta, but all of the cast have had voiceover thoughts. I don't get why everyone is making a big deal over this one. I will admit, so far Berta comes off as more nice so far, I don't think her role has changed much. The fact they mentioned ashton and his in show wife as high school sweethearts makes the ages, 33 an 36 respectively, make ok sense. They don't always bring in younger women, see Courtney Thorne-Smith (45).

A loved this episode more than the previews one! I laughed a lot more!
    Evelyn & Bertha are awesome!
I Kutcher was better in this ep, more funny talk, but he truly isn't Charlie. he is funny but I'm missing something. he's acting isn't natural at all, really the opposite of Charle
Cryer disappoints me a lot, I expected more from him.
I missed Jack a lot! Think he would interact good with Walden!
Staying a fan til they crash it completely

  24. birgit

R.I.P. Two and a half men....

All the characters have suddenly turned into heartless idiots. It's like Chuck Lorre's spitting on 8 years of building a story. It's disrespectful to the fans!!! The writing for season 9 sucks

  25. kyi

Ashton's hair do looks plain odd and just doesn't fit into the dimension of the world. This is not the early 90s anymore so for viewer's sake get rid of that overly long hair
