I have to say that to me it looks like even Damon is slightly afraid of Stefan when Stefan grabs him by the neck...just look at the fear in his eyes...AWESOME!

So Damon has gotten what he wants. He was trying to force Stefan to drink now he's drinking. Damon wanted Elena, now Stefan is out of the picture. The thing that Damon wasn't planning. Elena is a good girl who loves and misses her true love.
