The Office Casts Andy's Parents
We know he went to Cornell, but on season eight of The Office, we'll learn who paid for Andy Bernard's education there.
Sources confirm that Stephen Collins has been cast as Andy's father, as the former Private Practice/No Ordinary Family star himself Tweeted this week that the cast is a “ridiculously fun & talented group, including @Rainnwilson who I worked w/in his 1st job in ’89 in the Park.”

Meanwhile, Dee Wallace (ET, Detroit 1-8-7, Law & Order: LA) will come on board as Andy's mother, as first reported by Entertainment Weekly.
The Office, and new Sabre CEO James Spader, returns on Thursday, September 22.

Dwight: Sense Billy says most students don't pay 150,000 dollars over 20 years to get their black belt.

No you're not wrong. I hate when shows do that. They think we won't remember. I understand his parents will have a bigger part this time and will need to be played by real comedic actors, but when you cast a role you need to have that in mind!

I must be wrong... I could have sworn that Andy's parent were already on an episode of The Office. The episode where he proposed to Angela at Toby's good-bye party...
