Hawaii Five-O Spoilers: More Accountability, New Characters

at .

As the only success story of any new drama in 2010-2011, Hawaii Five-O isn't resting on its strong ratings.

The show has been on a casting binge, promoting Masi Oka to series regular; hiring Terry O'Quinn and Tom Sizemore; and signing Lauren German as a season two team member. What else can fans expect this fall?

More realism, producer Peter Lenkoff tells The Hawaii Reporter: “There’s going to be more accountability for the Five-0 team, especially because of the new governor."

Ah, yes, the new governor. He'll be portrayed by Richard T. Jones.

Sizemore's Internal Affairs officer, meanwhile, will be “actively investigating” Steve McGarrett and his actions, based on the events that went down on the May finale. Overall, producer Paul Zbyszewski told the newspaper, the goal is to "grow the Ohana."

We want to "develop these smaller characters,” he said.

Season two of Hawaii Five-O premieres on September 19.
