Brea Grant is heading to Dexter. Or, more specifically, to the lab alongside Dexter's office. The actress will recur on season six as Masuka's intern, Ryan Chambers.

"She is his perfect match in that she likes [the crude comments]," the former Heroes star tells Zap2It. "She's thinks it's funny and she can play as well, she can meet him on his own level. She's very sexy, cool, chill."

Grant has already shot four episodes of season six. Can she reveal any Dexter spoilers?

"This season has a lot of religious elements in it. That's sort of exciting to see all that play out. There's some great guest stars, it's always amazing when you go to a table read and you're sitting next to Edward James Olmos and Colin Hanks."

Dexter returns in September. No exact return date has been announced yet.
