OMG . Anyway killing off Damon would be supid move . I think that since tyler wasn't a full werewolf when damon got bitten (whereas jules was when she bit rose) i think damon will turn into a human . My opinion and i will probably stop watching the show so fanaticly like i do now .

Look everyone vampires don't have hearts,no children and remorse so if they off Damon it wouldn't be an vampire flick. They have to have a ending until next season. I read that the season 3 was renewed so like the rest of the people if they got rid of Damon the ratings would go way down and that would be a stupid move. Hang in there he'll still be around I've been a true fan from the start.

I love the entire show. Every character. It disgusts me when people say they'll stop watching if Damon is killed. The CW is a huge company and everyone can be replaced. So Damon fans had better smarten up with the threats. One thing we all have seen lately with TV shows. When an actor gets too much attitude...there gone! and I love when producers put actors in there place. We all love the show and enjoy it.

I don't think Damon is gonna die. Tyler bite him will he was changing into a wolf. He wasn't fully transformed. So I think that'll be the catch.

I'm so in love with almost all of the characters I don't want anyone to die. People relax there is no way Damon is going to die. That would be rating suicide. I hope they leave Tyler and Caroline alone I want to see that relationship develop. I also hope Bonnie is kept alive though I see her dying.

Damon won't die. My theory is that the ritual will take place ... and because of the ritual the whole "werewolf bite kills a vampire" thing won't be true anymore. I think it'll change to... werewolf bite makes a vampire a hybrid.

I don't believe they will 'kill' Damon. But how he reacts to the changes in his life he has made, decisions, good or bad, attitude, etc., these are what will change him and what Julie means by his life as he knows it.
Of course awaiting next year will be painful. LOL

I think Julie Plec said once in an interview that this about the relationship of the brothers, Damon and Stefan. It will go thru the ups and downs, love and hate, but in the end it's about their relationship, so I really don't see Damon being killed permanently.

Julie said that Damon's dying is the finale....the cliffhanger... So I bet when season 3 opens, somehow they will find a way for Damon to survive. Maybe drinking blood of an Original can save him!

I agree with Sophievn . If The Vampire Diaries kill Damon , the ratings will go down hill . A lot of people watch this show for Damon and if they kill Damon , I personally think the show will not be the same .

you are soo lame..yes damon is attractive and yes he is a good character but enough is enough he needs to learn that he cannot do what he wants and he needs to learn to shut the eff up and realize he isnt the boss he SHOULD DIE..be dead for awhile and come back I think...However, there is another understated character on the show that has brought more depth, more deception, more realisation and more character development than either damon or any other character and that is Katherine...

Seriously, Damon becoming a human again? That be way too much like Buffy and the whole "vampire with a soul"- story. I liked the idea someone had with Tyler being in transition and the bite therefore not being a deathsentence way better.
Besides damons torment is visible to us viewers but not his fellow mystic fallies (except for the older vamps, they seem to get it), so I think it was a smart move from "OMG we must save elena" to "OMFG we actually have to save damon." I´m excited how that´ll work out.

The elixir wont work on damon hes alredy dead and a vampire like elijah said to damon when he force fed elena,.....its useless hopefully therell b some twist about tylers transformation tht will make the bite not harmful just there....mayb since hes a newborn werewolf in a sense the bite cant kill damon.......

Damon can't die , he's the Vampire Diaries. He cannot die. I really hope that theygive him the Elixir from Elijah. So IF he dies, he can live agan.
Damon should not die.He will not die, definitely. We loved Damon and he's one of the main reasons why people watch this show, admit it. TVD will not be the same without Damon. I'm also certain that the writers will not take the risk. They will lose a lot of viewers if they try, I guess. Or atleast those on team Delena.

I have watched TVD from the very beginning and have been enthralled by all the storylines, although some have been much better than others. I have loved Season 2 but how can they even contemplate killing off Damon??!!! The show for me revolves around Damon, Stefan and Elena.. Stefan is kind but a bit of a wimp. Damon is the badder half but always redeems himself and can show his softer, more caring side occasionally. The tension between him and Elena can be electric and I often wish that she would leave Stefan and get together with Damon, whose love for Elena is undeniable.PLEASE don't kill Damon off...it won't be the same. With all the twists and turns recently there has got to be a way that Damon can live. Maybe in Season 3 he and Elena can get together. That would make my day.

Yeah, you are NOT doing your job!!!! Bonnie came back to life, John came back to life and there is NO way anyone with brains would kill Damon. This show may not be about him, but he is the most popular character. Killing him would need A LOT better, other stories in the show to fill the gap.
So, I'm one of the guys who do not believe the consequences are life and death! Which is a pity, because I like TVD. But I don't believe - like it was with LOST - that anybody could die any moment.
I don't think Damon will die! I think they only do that for Delena, I think Elena will realise her feelings for Damon because she think he will die! Of course that will not happen because killing Damon is killing TVD! And i think Julie and Kevin know that to! It's just a good move for let Delena happen :)
If Damon is killed off then I'm done with this show. It's like Lost once Ian Somerhalder was killed off that I didn't watch the rest of the show until this year.
Damon: She's strong and crafty and you'll die. Elena: At least I'll die trying.

If Damon is killed off then I'm done with this show. It's like Lost once Ian Somerhalder was killed off that I didn't watch the rest of the show until this year.
