This episode will truly bring out the shocking, extreme and surprising events lurking in Mystic Falls. Damon is in trouble from a werewolf bite and it's nice to have Stefan help him but if he dies, what will Stefan do without him? The Delena fans and my sister will grow shocked out if Damon is truly dead. What will be mostly shocking is if Elena will come back as a vampire or if she will be truly dead. If Jenna becomes a vampire, what will Elena's friends think of this? No one ever knows a werewolf bite can be cured because when Jewls told Damon to steak Rose to cure her, she never came back. When this season ends, Mystic Falls will never be the same. I'm growing more obsessed to see what else will happen for the season finale and the arrival for the 3rd season. XD =) =O

Please please please dont kill Damon off. Where will I get my Ian Somerhalder fix then? Besides as someone else has mentioned above it would be like Twilight without Jacob or harry potter without Ron. Just basically NOT right!!!

I know that the TV series hasn't followed the book word for word but the is A LOT of similarities if you look out for them. 1stly in the book, Elena becomes a vampire then dies at the hands of Kathrine. i don't think that'll happen now though because that happened before Klaus came about. but Elena died as a vampire by sunlight, which we would all assume that like a werewolf bite, there is NO coming back.... but she does, which is what i think they are going to do with Damon. they may kill him and keep him in flash backs and Bonnies visions for a couple episodes and then resurrect him... just a thought.... and personally i couldn't care less about Jenna, but they should have taken Jeremy instead (pain in my ass)

Here is a possible scenario. They discover that wolf's bane cures or causes the affects of the werewolf bite to go dormant. Who knows what the brain children at CWTV will come up with?

if damon was killed off, there wouldnt be the brotherly suspense, or anyone to fight over eleana. there really isnt a vampire diaries at all without damon. if he is killed off then there is not much point in watching the show. i'd be one fan that would not continue watching im afraid. damon is one of the MOST important characters. it would be like Twilight with no Edward or Jacob?! ...

Tyler wasnt completely transformed when he bit him. I think Damon will ''die'' then reawaken as a hybrid like Klaus, but a good one, that doesnt need to have the werewolf 'deactivated' if that makes sense?

I don't believe either he's gonna die. Or let me rephrase: he might die, but he will not be written out.
I think the most interesting storyline now would be to kill him of and revive him, BUT let us know after some time. Like when people (read: Stefan) are grieving and not coping etc. Like Stefan turning into a bad-ass self-destruct machine like Chuck Bass in GG. And then the almighty Damon would come to rescue.
As for somebody dying.. I think it might be Jenna, because the flowers were placed near Gilberts.. so it has to be either Jenna, Elena, John or Jeremy. I think we can rule out Elena, cuz even if she would die and wake up as a vampire she couldn't hide. Nor do I think it's John, cuz his character has a lot of pontentially good storylines.. so either Jeremy or Jenna. My guess is Jenna, because they've already done the turning into vampire thing twice and basically used the only 2 outcomes that it has(either struggling and dying or coping and becoming awesome). + Elena HAS to

Well if Damon does die they might as well kill off Stefan and Elena and Jeremy and Bonnie and the REST OF THE WHOLE DAMNED CAST cos Damon was the only one keeping the show from crossing into twilight territory. And if that happens, I think the show will end midway through season 3.
Honestly I don't think he will die because screenwriters and producers aren't fools. They read forums and blogs. They know who is liked and who isn't. I mean in True Blood Lafayette dies in the first book but not in the first season of the show because his character was so popular.
The Vampire Diaries will lose many viewers if Damon is killed off. That I guarantee the producers. So if they're reading this and think I'm right, then they should go back and re-write and re-film every mistake they've made

The show ends for me if Damon dies. It seems "Plec" doesn't really care about the opinions of the viewers. I'm not happy with how these last episodes have gone down and how they have made Damon look. I will finish the season but unless something so freaking amazing happens, I don't know how much of the next season, if any, I will be watching.

He's not going to die.
Not because he is one of the most popular characters, but also because the major plot line behind TVD is the live triangle between the two brothers and elena. Loose one of the brothers and you loose the basis for the show. Without him there would be no structure or grounding.
Let's all relax, he's not dying.

I love Damon and I hope they don't kill him off!! I reckon, Damon will die, but as this episode told us, Elijah has an elixir which he claimed would bring Elena back to life. She doesn't need the elixir as she drank Damon's blood. Hence the elixir is available for Damon's use?? Or it will be a choice between Jenna drinking it or Damon drinking it. If Jenna dies, then Jenna dies but they can't kill Damon.

I'm guessing they are following "The vampire diaries" book basics. Most of the these things happend on the book, but with diferent triggers or situations...

I love Damon Salvatore to the core... and that's why I WANT THEM TO KILL HIM!
Make something AMAZING out of it. Like what happened to Buffy. Like Lukas said, they KILLED OFF THE MAIN CHARACTER (Buffy) and then revive her... I WAS AMAZING! I remembered being so freaking insane the following next months not knowing WTF will happend. I want that again.
I would LOVE if they kill Damon and in the following seasons it takes like 2 or 3 episodes to actually know he isn't dead. Make him human, make him be saved by whomever, evrybody knowing, nobody knowing, I DON'T CARE. JUST KEEP US GUESSING!
It would be fantastic, amazing!!!
PS: CC, Somerhalder has a career, he worked in several movies and he participated on LOST too. Now he's not doing much because he's bussy with his ISF, wich is also amazing. You should check it out!

They won’t kill off Damon. Either Bonnie will find a cure or she’ll use her enhanced powers or Stefan will come through with an answer. That being said I don’t think Bonnie will die. (She better not)
I think Elena will die and become a vampire. Awesome right! For that reason alone I want Katherine to survive… imagine having a vampire twin!
I’m a Stelena shipper but I do hope that Elena forgives Damon (again). I hope Elena’s not such a whiner as a vampire. Coraline became better after becoming one…
So yeah. Damon will live and even if he doesn’t - they’ll bring him back. Chill you guys lol

Death toll will be: Klaus, Greta, Jewels and probably either Jenna or Alaric and maybe the sheriff. Oh and then there's Tyler's mother - no need for her. So that's pretty good blood shed amongst these peeps w/out sacrificing the main cast.

I cannot believe that anyone would think that Damon will die. Have faith in the writers, they know what they are doing,they have to come up with a good cliffhanger. Maybe he will die, and be brought back from the dead with Elijah's elixir, and return as a human, he did become human in the books. Then everyone would have their Delena, since she does not want to be a vampire. Hopefully then everyone would stop complaining and whining about them. It would be nice for a change, if the rest of this wonderful cast were given the credit that they so deserve. Vampire Diaries is about all of them , not just Damon, I for one would like to see a little less of him, and more of the others.It disturbs me the way he constantly pops his eyes out, not attractive at all. I will hate to see who does die for real, as I like them all.
