I am so happy to see how many people feel the same way about Damon.... regardless of it being a "Vampire" show, that needs to have deaths....... the main Characters are what make the show, and keep the viewers coming back....... if they just had random vampires come & go, it wouldn't be the same, and they would definately loose all their viewers.... we want Damon, and Stefan and Elena, if any of those 3 die, the show DIES! The END! Another great show dies off, because they can't manage to keep a good plot going. So Sad! Oh, by the way, I LOVE DAMON! He's definately my favorite!

are thay crazy...damon caN'T die..it's pointless...'cause everybody will stop watching the show..oh..come on..you all know he IS the show..:d and btw i prefer stefan be dead than damon...:p and than elena and damon can be together..or somehow if stefan doesn't die ..can't the stroytellers just make it happen(delena) :p i'd love such a show..:p (inlove) but if it doesn't happen(delena) i'd watch the show only if damon remains alive..:p

If they kill Damon off I will no longer watch this show. I love the series but Damon is the reason so much of it is great. He's the counterpart to Stefan. If he dies the show will never be as good.

Please don' kill Damon! you will most likely loose half if not more of your viewers and i will be one of them. As much as i love this show and look forward to it every week there will be no point in watching if Damon isn't there. Don't get me wrong Stephen is hot but Damon is hot and edgy, it makes him way more fun to watch and "want" ;. so please don't kill him :(.

IF HE DIDN'T HAVE GREAT LOOKS AND A FUNNY PERSONALITY I THINK I WOULDN'T BE WATCHING THIS SHOW AT ALL!! HES THE ONE THAT MAKES THE SHOW MORE FASCINATING WITH ALL HIS WRONG DECISIONS. ELENA SHOULD TOTALLY FALL FOR HIM IN THIS SEASON OR THE NEXT THEY WOULD MAKE A GREAT COUPLE.

I don't even care if Elena and Damon ends up together. If there's no chance of delena I'll still watch the shoe because Damon is such a fun character but if they'll kill Damon I'm not gonna watch it anymore. Vampire diaries without Damon is boring. The 3 main characters should remain alive.

I dont think when Plec said it was the end of the journey meaning he was going to die but the journey he has been taking all year. maybe at the end of the season Damon will finally come to terms with who he was and who he has become that he's not just a bad vampire but that there is good in him

If Damon dies, I'm pretty sure I'm done. Damon dieing would mean tragic viewer loss. She may not be afraid to make the "tough choices", but neither are the viewers. Ultimately, I would like to see Damon with Elena. With or without that content, the show needs him.

i love this show and will probably stop watching it if Damon dies.. He's my favorite characetr and reall ythe only reason i watch the show.. To be honest the cast is great but without Damon they'd be boring..Most of the parts involving stefan and elena are a bit boring though i still like them..i personally don't like the idea of elana and damon..i like bonnie and Damon,,, I really hope Damon doesn't die since he's the only reason i even turned on the show..Without him the show is a bit too much like Twilight

lol smart writers.. everyone knows they won't really kill Damon. If he dies, and that is a big if, they would pull a Buffy (reviving him). The whole show is about 2 brothers and the girl they both love. But making it look like Damon is going to die ensures that everyone is going to watch next season.

Damon won't die. The writers are smart enough to know that they will lose the show if they kill him off. They are trying to make us sweat it out though.

Damon wont die. he makes the show. imagine one episode without any damon. it would suck. now imagine the show from now on without damon. unimaginable. if damon ended up dying from this werewolf bite and didnt come back, i guarantee that at least 50% of viewers wouldnt tune in. the show would be cancelled. and no one wants that. :)
Damon: She's strong and crafty and you'll die. Elena: At least I'll die trying.
