NCIS Scoop: Whose Eyeball Was That?!

by at . Comments

"THE EYEBALL BELONGS TO SOMEONE YOU KNOW!"

So says Pauley Perrette (Abby) on Twitter. Wow. As if the ending of this week's NCIS wasn't (forgive us) eye-popping enough, that's quite the scoop from P-squared.

Perrette Tweeted that piece of knowledge as part of CBS' Tweet Week, and it certainly puts a disturbing, mysterious twist on the startling discovery Tony made.

Abby Shot

In case you missed it, the episode concluded with the "P2P" sending a message to Ziva and Tony, who end their day at a bar, having failed to apprehend the serial killer.

After Tony surprisingly tells Ziva to ease up on Ray, the bartender delivers a drink from a patron who's since disappeared. Inside one of the ice cubes is an eyeball.

So whose eyeball is that, and on a related note, who's the P2P Killer?

Might he (or she) be someone we know as well? Discuss below!

FUN SIDE NOTE: Pauley also Tweeted that the baby doll used to lure the victim on Tuesday speaks with a computerized voice - one done by David McCallum (Ducky)!

In watching the preview for next week, yes Kort is w/out his left eye. And the name of the killer was revealed in the preview, Jonas Cobb hense why the preview says, 'They know who the killer is'. The thing I find interesting is that both Ray & Kort are in the next 2 episodes. A couple episodes ago when EJ revealed Ray was the CIA laison, you would think it would be left at that, however the fact that Kort is coming up, you could speculate some things out of that. First, a couple posts ago I said there is no way it could be Korts eye because he wouldn't have access. But then seeing the preview and the fact he is explaining the Cobb thing makes me assume it was a CIA op gone bad that Kort was either in charge of or had a part in. Following along those lines, the fact that his eye is missing and Gibbs has not killed him makes me think maybe Kort & Cobb were recently on a CIA op working together or Kort was trying to apprehend Cobb and his eye was taken somehow and Cobb escaped.
It would almost have to follow those lines if Kort is involved since Ray was the CIA liaison, why the need for 2 CIA agents. I just can't get past the pulled video clip that shows Abby standing in the background. Everytime we have seen Abby outside of the building, something happens to her, the couple episode examples that come to mind are when she went to the dentist & was abducted by the FBI to work in the underground lab, another being when the guy was playing out McGee's book and had a gun to her when she was sleeping at the convent, when she was abducted by the US Marshall in 'Bloodbath'. Also put that together with PP saying in one of her tweets she had to cry after one of the last scenes being filmed in the next 2 episodes, and the look on Gibbs face when he stands there before closing the ME van door, that was a look of being hit hard. And in the promo clip, the shot of McGee walking slowly in the rain with that look on his face as he walks & looks down almost makes it look like he's waling upto whoever is dead so from the promo you know that in this episode anyway, it's not McGee, Gibbs, Mallard, or Palmer who dies since all 4 of them are shown in wither the promo or the behind the scenes clip I linked to below. Also I forget which interview and with who it was but it was stated by someone in the cast that the events in the last 2 episodes will change Gibbs world forever, what could be more of a blow to him than losing Abby. I'm sorry to say but DiNozzo is gone, either this episode or in 'Pyramid'. All season comments have been made about losing a key member of the team. Earlier in the season McGee made a comment to Ziva about how long the team will stay together. Tony gets involved with EJ, and now his partner is dead. Everything lately has been leading up to the scenario that DiNozzo is very distracted. He lost focus being with EJ, and now this partner thing has him even more unfocused since now attacks are becoming personal, he has to be considering the fact he or someone close to him is next.

Ok, just watched the preview for next week, looks like Cort is an eye shy. (Question is how and why does he have security access to MTAC?)

I got caught up in reading these posts. As far as the eye goes, we know it is blue, from a male in his 30's, and who had lasik surgery. Abby said we know him, but how is not said. My theory is the lasik surgery was done to alter the retina to duplicate the scan of a current member with access to MTAC - say one who was unconsious or maybe in a coma.(hint, hint) The person the eye came from is moot. The eye was altered to access MTAC as a message that no one at NCIS is safe. The P2P killer has a personal vendetta with the D.C. NCIS team. Who or why is yet to be revealed. (Though a killer with this level of skill, and the locations traveled, I wouldn't be suprised if it turned out to be C.I.Ray)

How much I believe or you want to read into things is whatever... but there was a behind the scenes promo filmed specifically during the filming of 8x23 'Swan Song' in which Brian Dietzen (Palmer) did an interview. VERY shortly after it was released, it was pulled officially by CBS. In in, it shows clips of the actual filming of the episode, one of which you see the same shots as tonight's promo for next week, a body being loaded in the rain, and Gibbs closing the door. However in this clip, watching VERY carefully, at :28 you see them strapping down a body bag, the camera zooms out, and on the right side of the van, you see Abby standing. Draw from it what you will, but why would Abby be shown out of the NCIS building unless for good reason. http://www.mikeweatherly.com/2...

How about Damon Worth - he has blue eyes. He was a marine in trouble then helped Gibbs when he was a mercenary?

I believe the eye belongs to Special Agent Stan Burley (played by actor Joel Gretsch). He was in season one episode six (High Seas). He worked with Gibbs before Tony
