NCIS Promo: "Tell-All"

at . Comments

Tensions are building between Gibbs and Vance on NCIS, as we discussed in our review of last night's episode. How will that spill over into next week, and the season as a whole?

Moreover, how does Sarah Jane Morris' E.J. Barrett fit in? So many mysteries ...

Next week on TV's top-rated drama, NCIS connects a message in blood left by a murdered Navy commander to a manuscript that may contain classified military information.

Sounds Da Vinci Code-esque, with an NCIS twist. Here's the promo for "Tell-All":

Después de ver 8x18 no me caben dudas que Vance intentó engañar a Gibbs para que "entregue" a Nick como autor del crimen del padre y así perjudicarlo. Creo que es idea de Vance reemplazar a Gibbs y equipo con EJ y su equipo pero x suerte nuestro héroe Gibbs se dió cuenta de la trampa, espero profundamente que desaparezcan Vance, EJ y equipo !!

The thing about Vance is, he is Gibbs "foil" character. He has to go against Gibbs, that is just the way the story goes. I personally think Vance acts like a true authority figure because unlike the director in season 1, this director is actually present during most situations. And Jenny and Gibbs got a long way to well. Even so, last nights episode was bad, it was like the filler "jackknife" last season which was horrendous.

I agree It was not a good one but it was because of Ziva and Gibbs

It's not that I dislike Vance per-se, it's that he doesn't fit. The original director was "military tough" like a senior officer Gibbs obeyed once in a while or to whom he justified things and was given room to work. Jenny was excitable because of their past, but ultimately let Gibbs do what he needed to do and covered for him. Vance is all about mano-et-mano with Gibbs, playing the "boss" card as often as he can, but really trying to duke it out for machismo's sake. Last night's episode was a joke, I could see the ending a mile off and knew it would end in humiliation for Vance, which he will hold as another strike against Gibbs, caring not that there was justice for the boy, but that Gibbs bested him once again. As far as the "guest" agents, they will come and go, maybe they will be the "red shirts" and die instead of the main team members. Still waiting for the Abby episode.

I love the show but I thought last night's episode was terrible. It just felt phoney. Too many things fell into place too easily and I am not interested in the unanswered questions about Vance and the Barrett character. Last night's episode was a major disappointment. Come on NCIS, get back on track!

Ever since Vance showed up with his toothpick chewing ego when Jen was under the gun for shooting the Frog I've disliked his attitude. The only time I felt anything for him was when he was blown up with Director David - otherwise, he's doing just what he blasted Jen for doing - making it personal. I hope Gibbs can take him down before he damages the whole of the department - or hurts one of the regulars.

Tony: One other question, I know you're an expert in English history. And I was just wondering, have you ever heard of Archibald Drummond, the 17th Earl of Trent?
Ducky: The Earl of Trent. No, I can't say I have. Why?
Tony: I was just wondering. Thanks.

McGee: All right. Well you should probably know that Abby and I used to date?
Bishop: Ew. Like, each other?
McGee: Yeah.
Bishop: Wait - isn't that a violation of rule 12, never date a....
McGee: It was a long time ago. After we'd broken up, one night I went to her lab. Found a scribbled piece paper; a list. Potential boyfriends had to fulfill certain conditions by a pre-arranged date or else, goodbye.
Bishop: Such as.
McGee: Things started off relatively normal: opening the door for her, flowers, putting the seat down. Then around number 8, it gets uh...
Bishop: What?
McGee: Does she know you have these?
Bishop: Does she know you have these?
McGee: Yeah she wasn't happy when she found out.
Bishop: These are all very specific.
McGee: Yeah.
Bishop: These ideas apply to you?
McGee: No those rules weren't in place when we were together. At least I don't think so.
Bishop: What's with the two month cutoff? Abby's sabotaging herself. I've seen stuff like this before. We have to talk to her.
