Ahead on The Mentalist: An Alien Abduction?!?
Following a multi-week hiatus, The Mentalist returns with a new episode on Thursday night.
Expect "The Red Mile" to feature typical Patrick Jane quips, a guest-starring appearance by Frances Conroy and a case of... alien abduction?!? That's right, this week's murder victim believed he interacts with extraterrestrials before his passing.

This is so X-files with a twist. Even Jabba the Hut is involved. Wonder what is happening with Hightower, now that she and Jane are on the same page, is she doomed to be R.J.'s next victim? I hope the 2 hour season finale doesn't leave these questions unanswered. I do prefer her ascerbic manner to LaRoche's sarcasm.
