Guys Calm down, we don't ALWAYS get a 2 hour finale. It's not that big of a deal...ABC decides when to place the hiatuses. Yes Shonda Rhimes only ordered 22 episodes for each show, but ABC decides when to place the breaks....I for one am not upset that there's not a 2 hour finale...

Shonda Rhimes only asked for 22 episodes each of Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice this year. Grey's Anatomy normally has 24 episodes as she always begins with double episode premiere and double episode finale, but Shonda didn't want to this year as it required too much work on her part. I don't know why Private Practice had 23 episodes last year, but Private Practice has never had a continuant episode, just cliffhangers (like most shows) and the 2 pilot episodes that introduced the show in episode 22 and 23 in season 3 of Grey's Anatomy.

So I guess CT's season finale will be aired from 9.30-10.30 pm. That sucks, I would have liked to see CT at 9 pm.

So desperate housewives gets a two hour finale but grey's and private practice dont? WTF? We deserve a two hour finale for all the time we have been on hiatus.:/
