ABC Greenlights Remake of Charlie's Angels
The long-simmering rumors of a Charlie's Angels reboot have now been confirmed: ABC has given a greenlight to the project.
As first reported by Entertainment Weekly, the show is likely to be on the network's schedule this fall and will be set in Miami.
It will be headed by Smallville writers/producers Miles Millar and Al Gough, with Mark Piznarski (Gossip Girl) rumored to be brought in as director.
Originally a TV series, Charlie's Angels was made into a pair of movies, both of which starred Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu in the title roles.
With news of its remake official, only one question remains: who will take on these main roles?

I like Katie but I want to see Amber Heard as an Angel. :/ how about both of them.

Katie Cassidy would be a gud choice but lindsey price may be too old. Altho her other co star (not rebecca) from east wick would be a gud choice. And they should def have someone from another race group to play one of the angels just like the movie. A modern day lucy liu!
Bosely needs to be comedic relief. A good comedian is needed there.

How exciting! I used to watch it on TV1.
I agree. Bring in Katie Cassidy! Lindsey Price would be great too. How about Rachel Bilson? Allison Mack? Sarah Michelle Gellar?
And get someone like Jeffery Dean Morgan to play Bosley?
