Candice Accola on Vampire Diaries Character: What's Next for Caroline?
Caroline Forbes isn't going anywhere.
Unlike Vicki, who was turned into a blood sucker and then quickly dispatched of on The Vampire Diaries, this character has only grown in stature since her transformation.
So, what's next for Caroline? We already know she will continue to get close to Tyler, but Candice Accola goes into even more detail about this relationship in a new interview with EW. Excerpts follow.
On Caroline/Tyler post-werewolf transition: The biggest thing to remember is that Caroline has been lying to Tyler. So even though there has been a really wonderful friendship that’s grown, it’s based off of lies to protect him and those around him. He thinks that she’s the only vampire town.
He doesn’t know that werewolves can kill vampires. There are lot of things that she’s kept in the dark from him, and secrets don’t stay secrets in Mystic Falls very long. When that comes out, that’s going to affect their relationship.
On upcoming interaction between Caroline and her mother: You will see Sheriff Forbes, but there’s not a lot of interaction between Caroline and her mom. That is a story line that will need to be told.
Will we be seeing more of Caroline as a badass? Yes, there is more physical stuff. The stunt work has been very fun at work recently. You’ll see Caroline get physical very soon.

I think Caroline's character really stepped up since she became a vampire. For me, her character's a whole lot bigger than Bonnie since Bonnie just seems to be some sort of assistance. Caroline kicks ass on her own.

loool !! yep, vampire Barbie in action !!! really I didn't like her character in s1, but she has grown on me in this season, same goes for Tyler. His transformation was sooooooo heartbreaking !!!! Exciting, but still... And she lied to him, I can't wait to see the truth coming out ! I want them together but, before that, some things have to be done !

Caroline has defo become a huge character on this show, replacein the likes of Bonnie, who does F*** all these days! i also like how Stefan and Tyler hav grown to trust her, and become her good friends, cos elena and bonnie always kept her out of the loop, and tbh she deserved better, they were bein way bitchier than she ever was! cant wait to see what happens when tyler discoers she ws lyin! am i the only 1 tinkin anger sex? thought not ;)

what can I say? They are the best in the show and i probably cant love them any more than i love them now. Forwood forever. mattorine is ENDGAME, GONE, GAME OVER. Taroline is just starting though ignorant old matt is trying to get caroline's attention!!! :(

Vampire Barbie is definitely awesome! I've only learned to love and appreciate Caroline since she became a vampire. I can definitely see her storyline becoming better and better. :)

LOVE caroline & taroline, obviously there will be drama but taroline is so more exciting than matt/caroline now. i hope tyler doesn't hate her though. can't wait to see the new eps

Yes ! Vampire Barbie is awesome!:) but I'm sad about the future of TC :( she has lied to him and I doubt he's going to forgive that easily...
