yes but lindsay( who said "just because he is handicapped doesnt mean he cant be on the team") he clearly knows, and is fine with not being on the football team because of his wheel chair. beccy is different. her handicap can still allow her to cheer; there is no way possible for Artie to play football. stupidest idea that they have come up with on Glee.

I agree with the review, it wasn't a good episode. Way too many dream sequence and re-enactment. Even with Brittany's dancing, so she is talented may be 1 or 2 songs is enough. If we want to watch good dancing, we can watch other dancing shows. The story lines in this Ep is very unconvincing. Especially with WEMMA and FINCHAEL developments. I love Glee, I wish they do better next time.
@ML House, I like your review, it's funny and alway pretty objective. I would like in the future, if you could comment a bit more on their acting skills. For example - I think Jayma has done a very good job in this episode despite the storyline. She gives Emma a slightly different feel than the love sick person from before.

I think this has alot to do with whether u grew up with these songs, nd i dont jus mean actively hearing them on radio or seeing them on TV. I mean u are in that slim age group, (Britney, Spice girls, backstreet boys, Nsync, christina) Those days, if u actively GREW UP with these guys, watched them, went fan crazy over them, this episode would be amazing. If ur older or younger then that slim age group, lol ur not gonna get this episode. Watching them recreate Britney was, WOW

"Finn can fly?" Brittany was hilarious!!!
That and the principaky speach were the best parts of the episode.
Sue was fun as well. The rest just so so....

they should do a paramore episode XD or at least more songs...they have meaning and would fit well with the show :D:D:D
Well it was better than that hypocritical, boring GaGa episode. I love Gaga and I HATED that tribute or whatever it was they did.
I was dissapointed they were dream sequences but it was still a fun sorta-filler ep.

@Gianluca Quinn gave her baby up for adoption and Vocal Adrenaline coach (and Rachel's birth mom) Shelby Cochran adopted her during the the first season finale.

This reviewer is dead on - the episode was the worst one to date! It was like the writers got lazy and just wanted to plunk in a couple video remakes. I love Heather as Britney and think she is hilarious and very talented...but the rest of the episode sucked! Rachel is just getting grating to watch.

I was so looking forward to this episode because I grew up loving Britney Spears and I love Glee, but I thought everything was just a mess. Nothing about the plot made sense, and I agree the musical numbers felt forced. Don't get me wrong, I loved seeing them recreate the Britney videos, and for the most part I thought it was a fun episode, but I would have liked it to flow better. It had the potential to be AMAZING, but as it was, I feel like it is one of the weakest episodes of Glee to date. I don't think every episode should be some heavy, hardcore moral lesson, but at least most of the time those plots and songs go together.

I loved the fact that Heather Morris had her "solo" finally! When you hear the candid interviews with her, she is so smart and funny. She was a dancer brought on to teach Glee how to do the Beyonce Single Ladies dance! Now look at her. In one interview she was like, I can sing! And she can. She was the best Brittany ever! Plus noone else would have been able to pull off those moves!
Lea's song from Paramore was extraordinary though. Love that song! Plus it fit with her character and Corey's.

I truly wish I hadn't, but I hated it. Worst episode ever.:(
I worked last night so had to record it and I am glad because it allowed me to fastforward through all of the anesthesia fantasy numbers! Ugh. Artie's "Stronger" was okay. And "Toxic" was good. Other than that, what a disappointment. :(

This episode was the worst glee episode ever. I mean, I have been a huge gleek forever, but they really let me down on this one. The whole show felt forced. The numbers were awful versions of brittney music videos. I mean, okay, if you are going to do a tribute episode that's great...but really at least have it move the storyline forward a bit. Rachel singing "Only exception" was the best of part of the episode because it had heart, meaning, and story behind it. Now look, before the Brittany fans out there come with their torches and pitchforks...I'm not saying the dancing wasn't awesome and I really enjoyed watching John Stamos. Of all the numbers Toxic was the best one, but I could have done without the fan commentary in the stands. But I was so put off by the attempt to recreate music videos I just couldn't bring myself to like it. Here's to hoping they go back to their original format for the rest of the season.

what i didnt like was how 90% of the songs were dream sequences. I hate dream sequences and it would have been much better if they were actually singing the songs.
I do not believe this review. The episode was amazing , one of the best so far , way better than the Madonna one. I LOVED IT!!! plus the last song really borred me and even if I love Lea Michelle I hate how she has to squize her face so hard to make a tear come out, she was trying too hard to look emotional during this song and i really didn“t like that part

I enjoyed this episode (but also admit I love Spears). In a way, this episode was an answer to some criticism that the Lady Gaga episode hardly contained any Gaga. It makes me wonder if the growing up to Britney comment wasn't true of the actors and actresses of the Glee cast, who may have all campaigned to do this song or that song (since you're right that they did seem to select the most iconic to recreate like dress-up). If you think about it, songs like "Crazy" or "Sometimes" or "Lucky" or even "What U See (Is What U Get)," "Don't Go Knockin' On My Door," or "From the Bottom of My Broken Heart" all would have more easily lent themselves to a more tied-in blend of song and story-line.
In a way, due to controversies with social issues in the past, this episode may have been a kind of test of how to blend music and just enough plot to keep it going. And there were some plot moments handled very well, almost in effective shorthand metaphors (like the change in Rachel's dress and

i'm absolutely amazed by this review, i came here to read all the compliments they should have made to the episode, instead i see the reviewer gave it 1,7/5 stars, this is ridiculous
glee is about the music, i have been complaining about the lack of plot for a very long timeand i gave up last week when i saw things are not gonna change, so why being critical now? at least this week brittany cracked us up at least 10 times, the music was great, everything was extravagant and fun, and we still had plot developments(even if we cannot help but rolling our eyes everytime a character gives us a moral lesson, as if we were too stupid to get that just by the character's actions)surrounding will(worst character on the show IMO)rachel and artie.
first time i give a 5/5 stars. keep it up glee

I thought it was a great episode. They kept the new characters to a minimum (and come on, who doesn't love John Stamos?), the music was great, and Brittany was hilarious. No, there may not have been a whole lot of plot, but that was fine. It was a fun episode.
