Kurt will be getting a love interest on season two of Glee.

Chord Overstreet will be recurring as a rival to Finn.

For weeks, fans have assumed these tidbits were related and that Overstreet would portray the new man in Kurt's life, an assumption cast member Jane Lynch has all but confirmed.

Asked about the student that will take Kurt's heart, the Emmy nominee told E! News: "They've cast him already," adding: "He becomes the new star quarterback and he's going to be Kurt's boyfriend."

Producers have, indeed, already confirmed that Overstreet's Sam will be a jock at William McKinley High School.

Asked to expound on Kurt's boyfriend, Lynch described him as "tall, boyish with straight blonde hair and big fat, pouty lips."

Sounds and looks like Overstreet, doesn't it? You're gonna do quite well for yourself, Mr. Hummel.
