Ready to meet Marti Perkins?

This character on the upcoming CW series Hellcats is played by Alyson Michalka. When we're first introduced to her on the show's September 7 premiere, she's on scholarship at Lancer University and hoping to coast through on her way to law school.

But money becomes an issue, forcing Marti to try out for the college's cheerleadering squad. See what we mean in this newly-released promo:
