Two and a Half Men Season Finale Review: "This Is Not Gonna End Well"

by at . Comments

We get it.  Chelsea has huge boobs.  But, really, Charlie, it's time to get over her or Two and a Half Men will have painfully jumped the shark.

Charlie and His Driver

This show normally does season finales like no other sitcom on television.   Take last season when we had Charlie stuck with Judith delivering a baby.  It brought out the entire cast and stuck them in a ridiculous situation.

This time around?  No Berta, no Evelyn, no Judith, no Herb, and certainly no Rose.  The last one being especially depressing after she made a re-appearance during last week's far superior "Gumby with a Pokey."

This week had plenty of laughs thanks to Jake really stepping it up as a cast member, proving why he deserves to be the highest paid child actor and, of course, Alan is annoyingly entertaining as ever.

But Charlie.  Charlie is a whiny, sobbing loser still.  If I wasn't reviewing this show, I might give up after this season.  The show really needs to get back to what makes it funny.  And that's less Chelsea, and more funny Charlie.

Again, the episode had laughs.  But this was no season finale.  Our favorite Two and a Half Men quotes from the disappointing half hour after the jump.

Jake: I like German cars.
Charlie: Well if keep your nose clean and work hard, you may be able to park them for a living. | permalink
Alan: I did buy her a nice scarf.
Charlie: Will it support your weight from a shower rod? | permalink
Jake: What's that?
Charlie: A birthday present for Chelsea.
Jake: But I thought you guys broke up.
Charlie: Yeah well I bought it a couple months ago.
Jake: Why?
Charlie: Because I thought that's when her birthday was. Turns out I confused it with St. Patrick's Day. | permalink
Alan: ...and maybe Saturday, a date.
Charlie: You're calling those magazines dates now? | permalink

Jennifer Bini Taylor is the cataylist of Charlie evolving into a better character. He was becoming to be too stale and boring as a womanizing man whore. He is getting old and it would be kind of gross to see a 45 five year old man picking up 20 year old babes. Jennifer makes the show a lot better. I never cared for the show as much, until Chelsea, a woman who can handle Charlie with her wit and figure. She is someone Charlie really needs and wants in his life.
Get Jennifer Bini Taylor back in the show, during the eighth season and get Charlie hitched. It would be funny to see Charlie fumbling through marriage as he did as bachelor!

Quoting the review! Posted on May 25th, 2010 12:15 PM by The Barnacle The show really needs to get back to what makes it funny. And that's less Chelsea, and more funny Charlie I have been thinking this for a long time now. Charlie has become a downer and is NOT funny!! Get rid of Chelsea and MOVE ON!! Also take a new cut seen of the house from the beach, the same guy is walking the dog on the beach every show!

Replace Alan with Jake in this conversation: Alan: What's that? Charlie: A birthday present for Chelsea. Alan: But I thought you guys broke up. Charlie: Yeah well I bought it a couple months ago. Alan: Why? Charlie: Because I thought that's when her birthday was. Turns out I confused it with St. Patrick's Day. |

For all of that think Charlie has turned whiny and a loser on the show, that's what happens to people that fall in love. why is everyone so pissed about him falling in love. i truly believe that the ones that don't like charlie this way don't know what it is like to be loved and to be in love. the show can be just as funny with him being in love rather than being a scum bad whore at 44 years old. Give me a break.
