I havent seen the episode yet cos it doesnt come on TV until Monday in Australia, but after reading all your comments I cant wait!!! Im glad that Elena and Damon didnt kiss, I think they are SUPER cute, and I LOVE Damon but I think Elena and Stefan are better. Stefan is more strained and like tense all the time which makes it adorable. Anyways, if Elena gets with Damon, I will still be happy! But I will be friggen thrilled if she stays with Stefan. They were seriously ment for eachother THE VAMPIRE DIARIES ROCKS!!!!! Woot woot can't wait till September.. HURRY UP MAN

LOVED THIS EPISODE!!!! like sooooo many of u guys, my heart melted when damon kissed... "elena". then john talks to her, we see the knives, i wondered briefly if she'd actually hurt him, and she does, which surprised me, 'til john said "katherine?". dammit, i didnt like john much only because he was "bad" and seemed manipulative, etc. but the fact that he and isobel want the best for elena kinda touched me, you know? i think i might be the only person here, but i'm sad that he had to die like that. RIP anna. i really liked her

OMFG! i feel like banging my head against the the wall. WTF??? it was katherine, omfg!zomfg!wtfff??? Still in a state of shock! I actually thought it was Elena at the end. I was like "OMG Elena is totally going to stab John!" I was half right. "She" was going to stab John but what I didn't know is that it was Katherine! Holy Friggin crap! Still reeling from this! Can't even really gather my thoughts! AGGH! OMG! I WAS GOING CRAZY WHEN ELNA AND DEMON KISS! AND THEN WHEN IT WAS KATHERINE I WAS SHOCKED AND YET WAS LIKE OMG NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! AND THEN GAHH! Okay with Jeremy like he's becoming a vampire. Katherine cut off John fingers to get the ring off. SO he's dead and plus Anna(OMG SO SAD I REALLY WANTED Jeremy and Anna). I really really doubt they kill of Caroline. And OMG I hate hate Bonnie. I don't care that she saved Damon(like yeah I do) BUT LIKE UGHHH SHE THREATEN STEFAN AND DAMON!! STUPID BONNIE! But that was the best season finale cw have ever put on! The whole time during commercial I WAS GOING CRAZY! IT was GENIUS!

It makes me sad to know that it was Katherine he kissed...but I know there's gonna be a kiss between Damon and the real Elena (lol) in the next season...their love story can't be ignored forever. The beginning of season 2 will probably show Elena's feelings for Damon develop.

I think that when Katerina (Bonnie) said 2 characters would die she meant main characters. Those characters were Anna and John (Katherine stabbed him). Mayor Lockwood did die, but he's not really a major character, and we don't know if Jeremy and/or Caroline died . . . yet . . .

I bet Tyler is a werewolf or a shapeshifter or something (like his father!), so cant wait for next season with witches vampires AND werewolves! WTFWTFWTFWTF Katherine is back! This is soo weird! So I definitely gasped, hand to mouth, and looked around the room wildly (mind you, I live in an apartment alone) for someone to share my shock with when Elena/Katherine chopped off John's fingers. Definitely thought WTF WAS THAT?!?!?!!! but - strangely enough - here's what I'm wondering: WILL Jeremy die? So, here are the two things I'm processing: Katarina (Bonnie) said TWO people would die (not specifying major or minor character). Mayor Lockwood is dead. Anna is dead. That's two, isn't it? Would that mean that Caroline and Jeremy will be back in Season 2? Because, even though Jeremy ingested Anna's blood, he would have to feed to turn or else die, BUT it's also possible that Elena walks in and goes up to see Jeremy, he's rushed to the hospital, his stomached gets pumped, blah blah blah. Right? OR Maybe, if it's two major characters, it'll be Anna and Caroline that die (internal bleeding? not good). I dunno guys. Weigh in?

Damon's speech! It was heart melting and Elena didnt even get to hear it :( it's such a sad way for the season to end for him. Just think of all the trouble he went through to admit all those things to Elena and she didnt even get to hear it!! I hope he realized something was off though... He was so sweet!!! Poor guy...

ONE OF THE MOST EPIC HEART POUNDING SEASON FINALES I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i am praying they dont kill Caroline and omg Jeremy a vampire!! and that ending!! and Tylers dad!! and Anna dieing!!!!!!! what in the world!!!!! EPIC and great. Twilight has absolutely nothing on this show. Cant wait for season 2

Great episode! Definitely makes you crave for more. Seeing that this was CW's best performing show of the season you have to think that they will put even more effort and marketing into it. And most likely move it to a better "TV" day of the week. The only downfall to the last few episodes was the slow pace they developed the Lockwood werewolf plot. They kept on hinting at it with the lead up to the episode where Tyler kissed Matt's mom, with the whole moon image behind him in the preview. And you kept on seeing it progress but then they never delivered fully. Guess we'll just have to wait.

No!! Oh my gosh!! Damon and Elena! but it wasn't her! Why??!!! I was so thrilled and then its Katherine??!! Poor Damon :( Elena didn't get to hear his little speech about trying to be better which was totally huge for him to admit! September is so far away! Damon's face... love him :P
Damon: She's strong and crafty and you'll die. Elena: At least I'll die trying.
