Cancellations & Renewals: One Tree Hill and Life Unexpected Saved; Ghost Whisperer and The New Adventures of Old Christine Axed

A couple important programming notes to pass along from today's network upfront presentations...

The CW has renewed both One Tree Hill and Life Unexpected. Each should receive half-season pick-ups of 12 or 13 episodes and air on Monday nights again.
The news is worse for CBS viewers: that network has canceled both Ghost Whisperer and The New Adventures of Old Christine. ABC has hinted that it may pick up at least one of these moderate hits.

Beloved characters and outlandish storylines will return to Tree Hill this fall!

You left out that Melrose Place was officially canceled. Happy that Life Unexpected is coming back for a second season. One Tree Hill is garbage now, but at least fans will get closure now.
