Glee to Continue to Explore Rinn, Puckleberry and Other Relationships

While fans continue to praise this week's incredible Madonna-themed episode of Glee, producer Brad Falchuck isn't resting on his laurels or living in the past.

As evidenced by a new interview with E! News, he's focused squarely on the future. Specifically, Rachel's future and the numerous suitors she'll have as the season progresses. Sorry, Jesse St. James, but you're about to have some serious competition.

Referring to the Finn-Rachel relationship as "a core of the show," Falchuck said of the pair we've dubbed "Rinn:"

"We always are going to explore that relationship in many different ways. It's going to be a push and pull in that sometimes it's going to be him going after her and sometimes it's going to be her going after him, and they're always going to be watching each other from afar."

Ms. BerryKurt

Kurt is about the only member of New Directions who won't have a chance with Rachel.

But Finn won't be alone in this regard. Falchuck offered up a few spoilers/nuggets regarding other possible pairings for Rachel. To wit: Puckleberry.

"Every good girl likes a bad boy, and there's nobody more good than Rachel and nobody no more bad than Puck," the producer said. "We'll continue to explore it. It's high school! Everybody is always bouncing around to everybody."

It's time for you to choose sides, fans. Who should Rachel date?

Puckleberry, puckleberry, puckleberry, puckleberry, puckleberry, puckleberry, puckleberry, puckleberry, puckleberry, puckleberry, puckleberry, puckleberry, puckleberry, puckleberry, puckleberry, puckleberry, puckleberry, puckleberry, puckleberry, puckleberry, puckleberry, puckleberry, puckleberry, puckleberry, puckleberry, all.the.way. and to "theonlyexception" Are you kidding? Rachel and Finn and boring and awkward. Rachel and Puck on the other hand are sexy and cute, and perfect.

NO way! St. Berry is waaaaaayyyyy better! After "dream on", we have all concluded that jesse isnt the traitor we all thought he'd be. C'mon give them a chance! Rach and Jess have undeniable chemistry! they have two (or more) years of practice being in spring awakening and all! And Jesse is the only guy who can handle Rah's drama and be a rock for her at the same time. Finn can be supportive, but in "Laryngitis" when Rah asked him what's more to her than her voice, he just changed the topic. I know Rach means a lot to her but he's not as conducive to her as jesse is!

jeez, what about puck n quinn? no kissing scenes, no sex flashback, no lines in two eps earlier, and now we heard that puck is going back to rachel n then hook up with mercedes?? that's not fair at all. i'm dying to see more storylines between them. just give us some hot n lovey dovey scenes between puck/quinn.

  5. Flargen

Rachel should date Quinn. Think about how hot that would be. Also, Faberry is better then Fichel or Rinn.

When it says: "Kurt is about the only member of New Directions who won't have a chance with Rachel." I know why he wont but does that mean Artie will?

What I want to see is a couple of Finn and Puck. Hmmmm... I wonder what their cute name would be?

as a member of the constantly growing Gleek Fanfiction community, I'd like to say that Puckleberry was the fans' idea and they're putting it back in BECAUSE OF the fans. :D Oh, and the Finn/Rachel pairing is most commonly portmanteau-ed as "Finchel".

Well, it annoys me how Rachel was new crushes almost every episode. She's not twelve, dammit xD.
