i think she (Catherine) kills herself because she cant choose between the two boys. There is a book series that is what the tv show is based on.

So I have been able to predict everything.
Damon making Vicki feed on his blood, Catherine being a vampire (that was DUH!) and I predict that when Catherine dies in the barn it wasn't because of the war but because the town was trying to get rid of vampires.
