Which New Grey's Anatomy Couple is Your Favorite?
Meredith and Derek hooked up on the very first episode of Grey's Anatomy, and through thick, thin and post-it note weddings, they've been the focal point of the show ever since.
Which is why we've left the Grey's core couple out of the poll below. MerDer is in a league of its own at this point, while the show's other romantic pairings are all relatively knew.
Since the beginning of last season, we've met Drs. Arizona Robbins and Owen Hunt, Lexie and Mark coupled up and Alex and Izzie got married. Love is in the air at Seattle Grace!
Executive Producer Krista Vernoff says the show has spent a lot of time getting people together, and now it's time to tell stories of people being together. Amen to that, we say.

My favorite gotta be Calliope & Arizona!!! Calzona all the way they're the cuties couple on Grey's Anatomy. So funny and sweet love them ....

So I voted and commented before reading the other comments that came before mine and I'm weirded out by how you, all GA fans, hit each other just because you do or don't like a couple. I just wanna say: What the hell is wrong with you?!
It's a poll. The ones who vote are the ones who love the show enough to go to this website about them. There's not a fight over who the best couple is (since MERDER would probably win that hands down anyway).
It's just a question of favorites. So, please, just please, do not bash a couple just because it isn't your favorite. Just because you can't stand Izzie doesn't mean that Izzie/Alex does not work as a couple on the show. Just because Lexie and Mark together makes you cringe doesn't mean they don't work as a couple on the show.
And as for fanfiction, it can be a sort of gauge. Because some people who are frustrated with writers go there to get the couples, the stories they want to see, but they don't. So I'm really glad that we DO see Mexi

This is a very hard pick! When I first saw Cristina and Owen, I was like, "Owenstina, duh?!" But I saw Mark and Lexie whispering to each other like that and I fall all over for McSteamy again. And then, boom, Alex and Lizzie on their wedding day. It's so cruel to call them "new" because I've been rooting for those two since season 1!!!
But, alas, I love the new Alex and I've always loved Izzie. So there.
I think Callie and Arizona are great, but I still can't see how well they'll play out. Gah. Kudos to the writers for these new characters and new couples! :D Love Grey's!

Love Callie and Arizona they are so cute together.Arizona compliments Callie very well and Callie looks really happy.

Ok, I know I'm like the only person saying this in the comment but I don't care. I voted Callie/Arizona. I personally ujst love Callie happy. I've loved Callie since she started and will continue to love her till the show ends or she leaves, which will result in me no longer watching. I started watching because of Sara Ramirez in the first place. And don't commenters start saying oh you've not watched from the start soyou don't really get a say. I have watched all of the seasons. I own them all on dvd. I personally love all of the couples listed and hate, Meredith and Derek. Derek gets a little whiny for me and Meredith tends to get on my nerves. I've warmed up to Izzie a little. I loved her in the first season ( I started watching after I watched Sara's first episode in season 3) but she got annoying and weird when they brought in Denny (who should have stayed dead! No offense) Callie's storylines since she started have been about her being hurt and being treated like the outcast. I l

I agree with the people who said Alex and Izzie shouldn't be on the poll. They're not a new couple and already have a huge fanbase. MD and AI have been around since season one. Between the NEW couples I like better Mark and Lexie.
