Hilary Duff Lands Role on Gossip Girl
It's official. Hilary Duff is joining Gossip Girl for a multi-episode arc - as a new roommate for one of our favorite characters and a love interest for another!
The actress-designer-pop singer will be playing Olivia Burke, a movie star who enrolls at New York University in search of a traditional college experience.
She will room with Vanessa (Jessica Szohr) so it's safe to say she'll be majoring in Drama! Sorry, that was EW's line, but it was too good not to steal.
Olivia just wants to date a normal guy. Lucky for her, Dan doesn't know who she is and wants to hook up with her. Oooh. Get ready for some Dolivia!
Hilary Duff will debut on Gossip Girl in this season's fourth episode, October 5.
Gossip Girl producers spotted an opening in the 21-year-old star's schedule after NBC elected to pass on her comedy pilot, entitled Barely Legal.

What the hell is wrong with you people? Hilary Duff is fucking awesome, and actually is one of the only girl actors who hasn't made a bad name for herself. I love her, and think she has done a wonderful job on Gossip Girl so far. Hope ya'll feel stupid, now.

EW. I'm sorry, but does anyone remember Hilary Duff's acting skills? OH WAIT- she has none. Need I remind you of "Material Girls"? She should just go back to the Disney Channel... Kids have a higher tolerance for complete shit.
